This fridge replaces our 16 years old GE Profile 19.6 CuFt fridge. This fridge has a lot more storage even though it is only 2 CuFt larger. It is brighter and easier to find things. I do find it not as cold and the interior materials feels a little cheap. Overall , we are happy with it. Running for about 3 weeks now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

noisy, top shelf freezes

Very noisy when compressor is running. Food in the back of the top shelf freezes even though it is factory at 37. This is all very disappointing. We like the features but not the performance

Hi - We hate to hear you are disappointed with the performance of your new refrigerator and apologize for any frustration you may be feeling.
Newer model refrigerators use high speed compressors that do produce different sounds than previous models. Please take a look at page 42 of the owner's manual for a description of the normal sounds you can expect to hear -- https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000472-1.pdf --
We would also recommend you check and make sure you do not have any food items against the back wall at the top of the fresh food compartment. The sensor for the fresh food section is located in that area on your model. If the sensor is blocked it may not be reading the internal temperatures correctly which could explain the issue you've had with foods freezing on the top shelf. If this suggestion does not resolve the issue, we would recommend calling GE service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment under your warranty to have your refrigerator checked. love the top refrigerator with freezer drawer at bottom. you can see everything at eye level

I am very pleased with this refrigerator. The interior design accommodates a large amount of storage. My only complaint is that it did not offer a finger print proof option

Great size and color

The size is excellent. Very bright interior lights that dim too. Having the upper fridge and lower freezer is an excellent arrangement. It does make a lot more noise than our old fridge and not just the ice maker.

This is a great fridge. I did read other reviews about noise. I hear a noise but it’s not loud and only for a few seconds it’s just cycling. I love the slate color looks so nice in our kitchen. So happy with this fridge the top fridge is the best!
