This refrigerator was slightly loud when we bought it, 3 years later is sounds like a power tool in constant use. Really frustrated I have to get a service person out to fix a new refrigerator. It replaced one that was 50 years old and still working fine.

It is important to remember that newer refrigerators may sound different than older models due to updated technology and features. The compressor in a refrigerator is designed to run 80-90% of the time, which is more energy efficient than stopping and starting frequently, so you may hear it during normal operation. If you feel as though what you're experiencing isn't normal operation, please make an appointment with one of our Bodewell technicians, by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL or visit this site: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
Brand new and horrible loud noise consistently! Very Disappointing and now going through the run around to get warranty person to come look at it.

Newer refrigerators may sound different than older models. Because they use updated technology and include more features, it’s normal to hear them running during regular operation. We have an article from our GE Appliance website that has the normal operating sounds youll hear at the link here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901&_gl=1*.
Love the amount of space in the refrigerator! I wish the freezer had a bit more. I really like the door alarm as the door doesn't swing shut easily. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the ice maker is REALLY LOUD!! I don't understand it. It must be the pump used to draw the water into the fridge (it's the same hookup I had prior) but I can hear it throughout my house. It sounds like something's broken. It clicks, then knocks, then the sound of the water filling.
High pitch noise when the fridge works is a big problem, I am very sorry I bought this fridge.

I’ve just moved into a new rental apartment that came with this refrigerator, and the constant noise it makes is unbelievable. It never stops, and it’s loud enough to be genuinely disruptive in a small space. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I’m honestly shocked that this is considered a product worth selling

Freezer capacity is much smaller than the listed 6.0 cubic feet spec; I moved my existing frozen items into this model from my old one, which was also 6.0 cf & I was unable to get over 1 cubic feet of product to fit! Also, there is a constant on/off buzz while the motor runs which is extremely irritating.

The freezer capacity for this model is 6.05 cu ft. Your feedback regarding the capacity and sound will be shared with our product team for future consideration.
Very disappointed. Had ice crystals in freezer during 1st week - due to misaligned freezer drawer - that has been fixed. Can not get used to the compressor noise. The higher pitched noise is very annoying.
