It works, it cools

Pros: It works, it cools. Keeps temp very consistent. I like the shelving on the doors as they hold a lot of odds and end bottles. Shelving spacing is good. Cons: Shelves bend in the middle if you put a 12 pack of soda on them, hopefully they don't break. It is a little noisy with vibration and it sometimes howls softly. If you are sensitive to sound then you may want to consider others.

We’d like to assist you with your refrigerator and we recommend taking a look at the article below for a list of normal noises associated with refrigerators and their causes: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901
It’s a pretty nice refrigerator. It’s cold in the freezer, but it also has some icing going on. It looks like shaved ice, not certain where that’s coming from. Doesn’t affect the preservation of the food. The space in the refrigerator and freezer is more than enough, plenty of room for everything. Looks great fits well. What else do you want from a refrigerator? :)
The fan is extremely loud and annoying. The shut off for the icemaker it’s a lousy design. I do not have water hooked up for ice. The icemaker ran all night next day. It looks like it snowed in my freezer. All food ruined. I should have just my 35 year old refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mostly satisfied. I wish it had a lower slide out small door for shorter items.

We’re glad you’ve been mostly satisfied with your new refrigerator, but we’re constantly working to make our appliances better. We’ll be sure to forward your feedback about the lower slide-out door for shorter items to our design team so we can continue to revamp and revise our products.
Perfectly matched the slate color of our other GE appliances (Microwave, Range, Dishwasher). This was our first Bottom-Freezer and love it - especially since we don't have to slide the Golden Retriever out of the way every time we want to open the refrigerator door ! It seems very efficient as we continue to bump up the temperature one degree every few days to prevent items from freezing. The only issue we are having is that the compressor sounds like it is working too hard when it is engaged - with high and low tones reverberating continuously. Not bad - but noticeably different from our 15yo GE top freezer unit.
This refrigerator makes the most annoying noice whenever it is running! I would never have bought this refrigerator if I had known.

We hate to hear that your new refrigerator is making unexpected noises. We want to help. We recommend taking a look at the articles below for information on both normal and abnormal sounds you may hear.
If none of that helps, or if you believe the sound you’re hearing is much louder than can be considered normal, we suggest having your unit diagnosed by one of our qualified technicians. You can schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or by going to https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm.
