We love the door space as it holds a lot more than our old fridge. The only negative thing is the door doesn't close unless you give it a good shove. Thankfully there is an alarm if it's open for longer than a minute.

My new GE refrigerator replaced a GE refrigerator that died after almost 30 years! I love my new GE’s bottom freezer drawer and the refrigerator part is user friendly.

I am very happy with this product and its features. Lots of room in both refrigerator and freezer. This is my first experience with freezer on the bottom and I love it! Crispers are nice and roomy and hold a lot of fruits and vegetables. Freezer works great also. Runs very quietly.

Too noisy

Nice unit other than the unusually loud, higher frequency noose when the compressor is ON. Needs better sound proofing inside the walls, etc.

We're terribly sorry to know that your refrigerator is noisy and understand how much of a headache that is.
Modern refrigerators have new features and are more energy efficient than older ones. The foam insulation used in new models has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation.
Hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hard wood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first. These sounds are normal and are usually an indication that the refrigerator is operating properly.

Perfect Size

The refrigerator was purchased mainly because of it's bottom freezer feature. It was about the only one we could find to fit the space allowed for this appliance (even after removing a cabinet above it). My only complaint is that it wasn't available in white.
