I am so happy with my Refrigerator. It has more room than I anticipated it is bright when I open the door. And it is easy to see in the back of the shelves. The shelves on the door are wider and holds a lot more .
After over an 8-month wait due to shipping delays stemming from the pandemic, the fridge arrived, and met all of our needs. It is in a corner, opening against a wall that our previous side-by-side's freezer door kept bumping into and made it hard to reach into. This new bottom-freezer model immediately resolved that problem. Even at the same outer dimensions as our side-by-side, this new fridge is so much more spacious. One thing we don't like is how the upper fridge door magnets are not as strong. Sometimes, closing the freezer normally (not slamming) will result in the fridge opening a crack. We need to keep checking to make sure it's pushed closed; it is level and doesn't close with any momentum behind it. Luckily there is a door alarm to tell us if this happens when we don't notice, but it is troublesome especially if we leave the room or house before the alarm sounds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there and welcome to our GE Appliances family! It fills us with joy to hear you’re happy with your new refrigerator and find it was worth the wait. However, we’re sorry to hear about the trouble with your doors and would like to help. As the freezer and refrigerator share air channels, it’s not unusual for one door to pop while another is being closed. There are some tips for helping with this here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16979&_ga=2.116764102.1366790192.1649085943-623024268.1641822316. With all of the recent advancements in technology in the last few decades, I cannot believe that the regular, pulsing tone generated by this refrigerator's motor is 'normal' or even 'necessary', but that's what the manual says under the Troubleshooting guide. I swear if it hadn't cost so much, I'd pitch it and buy the brand I used to have At least I know they are quiet. Also, it feels very flimsy on the inside.

Hi there, we're so sorry to hear your refrigerator is running louder than expected and that you're finding it to be flimsy on the inside. We pride ourselves on quality so that's definitely not what we want to hear.
In regard to the sound, you might like to know that modern refrigerators have new features and are more energy efficient than older ones. The foam insulation used in new models has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation. Hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hard wood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first. These sounds are normal and are usually an indication that the refrigerator is operating properly.
In addition, we're happy to share your comments with our product team so they can weigh potential improvements we can be making. We're wishing you the best and we're glad to have you in our GEA family.
This is the loudest refrigerator I’ve ever owned. It is challenging to get into the freezer with having to push the ice back into place to get to the freezer basket.
