It's a noisy appliance. Yes, I hear the icemaker and the water that enters to make more ice, but it makes moaning sounds; and I hear the appliance almost all the time. In addition, it is narrower than my earlier, broken fridge. The GE capacity is nearly equal, but it is deeper. It can be difficult to reach shelved items in the back of the refrigerator. Overall, I am pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible. Unbelievably loud. Broken on delivery.

From day one it randomly makes the noise of a helicopter taking off every few minutes or so. Can be heard rooms away loud enough to wake us up all night. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE. We have a repair scheduled, just have to wake up to motocross races in our kitchen 5 times a night for another month until they can HOPEFULLY fix it. Not sure how they can sell things like this if they are so obviously broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Taping and Wrapping Needs Improvements

The refrigerator is beautiful. I love the style and color.
However, I have just spent hours cleaning up a mess between the plastic wrap and tape. I used a scalpel knife to get plastic wrap out from under the seal- all around this fridge. The men who unwrapped it outside did not unwrap it in a way that I feel could have prevented this mess.
Also, the blue tape did not make any negative impact, but the other tape (tan/beige in color with stringy things within it), were a real struggle to get off of the shelves inside. I had much better things to do today than have to deal with this.
Again, the fridge is nice though.

The refrigerator of my dreams…

I finally did it. After 3 years of torture from my useless side by side freezer/fridge—I kicked that smudgy, rusty, clunk of junk to the curb. God, what did I ever even see in that dumb fridge?
Pulling in to my local overpriced appliance store, I knew my heart would guide me. This time I wouldn't be fooled by fancy new age kitchen trends. It only took a quick weave through the aisles for me to find it. There it stood, LED lights aglow, a fingerprint resistant angel of stainless steel. The one I should have chosen all along, the fridge of my dreams.
Pulling in to my local overpriced appliance store, I knew my heart would guide me. This time I wouldn't be fooled by fancy new age kitchen trends. Freezer compressor is noisy

Nice looking bottom freezer with drawer - exactly what I wanted and good organization inside. When the freezer compressor is on I can hear it in the livingroom - beeping sound and have to close the kitchen door if reading a book. I am in an apartment so probably wouldn't bother anyone in a house. Delivery guys not the nicestt.

I love the factory installed ice maker
