Very quiet, good lighting and nice arrangement of door space. Only thing my wife wanted was a butter container area.

We bought this fridge for it's width more than anything. We could not fit a standard 36" fridge in the space. Overall, I like it a lot and it solved the space issues we had in the kitchen. My only issues with it are that the fridge door does not continue to close when it's within a couple inches, you have to make sure you really push it closed. I'm not sure if the bolt is too tight or what, but lightly pushing it closed and walking away does not work. For that reason it would be nice if it chimed or something when left open. Luckily it only happened that it was left ajar one time and it was less than an hour. Now we are hyper aware and always make sure it completely closes. The temperature gauge sticker is not affixed really well and I'm honestly not sure where exactly to push to reset it when someone accidentally touches it and increases the temp. We basically just pressed around until it went back to 0 & 37. Lastly, the freezer is a little small, but it is what it is. With all that said, the fridge space is massive, the shelves are nice, and it made our kitchen feel a whole lot bigger.

Really love my new refrigerator! Our old one of 20 years died. I love the space inside. The controls are easy to use. Good quality for the money.

Picked this model for the bottom freezer option because I really wanted to have all my refrigerated items at eye level. Am really loving it. Am also really happy with the grey/pewter finish rather than stainless steel. Not in love with, but feeling ok about the pull out freezer storage. It's functional, but doesn't store as much as the regular door-type freezer - shape of the baskets and elimination of door shelving seems to be the issue. Last unit was at least 20 years old and still running like a champ, hoping this one manages the same.

Nice layout, Quite roomy, Really like the drawer style freezer. Ice maker bin good size. It is a little noisy but after a few days I don't notice anymore.

Sleek Modern Look-Functional Inside Space

We really enjoy having our new GE Fridge. We have a small kitchen and this refrigerator has a sleek modern look, perfect for our space. The size of our new GE fridge is such that it does not overwhelm the small footprint of our kitchen. Inside, the space is plenty and well designed and user friendly. We really could not ask for more in a refrigerator.

Horrible high-pitched noise, engineering flaw

I want to love this fridge, but there is a horrible high-pitched pulsating noise coming from the motor that I can hear all the way across our home. We've had several of repair people out to look at it over several months (still under warranty), some try to tell us the noise is normal, others concur it is faulty. GE finally replaced the fridge for us, the new one has the same exact noise in the old one, so I have to conclude this is a major engineering flaw. Have seen other reviews complaining of the same noise, so I know they must be aware of it as an issue. It's actually affecting my sanity when I'm in my home. So we will probably have to suck it up and fork out for a different fridge. It will definitely not be a GE.

Ice Maker is Unacceptable

Ice maker stopped working 2 weeks after getting water hook up. Replaced filter with very expensive one and got ERR code and still not ice. Wanted to buy American but run from this refer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
