great cooling, good icemaker

Good fridge, the only negative is a noisy evaporator fan, high pitched whining noise sometimes, not sure if this is a defect or not.

Love the glass sheves, no obstacles. Easy to use, configure. Despite negatives I saw on internet as to crispers, I think they are great, better than those in previous Maytag bottom freezer. Less chance to accidentally leave either door open, good seal.

This model of refrigerator is great - it has some really nice features, such as a programmable temperature setting and lots of shelving and storage options. Knocking off one star for the freezer, as it's a bit on the small side. Add in the ice bin and a good quarter of the space is gone.

we have this appliance because one we ordered had been back ordered for a year and no date of delivery was certain. We accepted this appliance because we feared old one would stop working. very little space in freezer

I've owned a very similar model in the past and I love it. It's a perfect size for a single person or couple, and the freezer on the bottom just makes more sense to me. The shelves are a little tight, but the wide door shelving is a plus. I was a little shocked that it was harder to find and more expensive in white, but it's worth it. My whole kitchen is GE and I couldn't be happier.
