Nice appearance

I like the configuration of the top very much. There is plenty of to. Not too fond of the configuration of the freezer. Drawers and basket make it hard to find things because you have to stack things on top of each other. I liked my older model much better.

The refrigerator looks beautiful. Love the slate color. Replaced a 22 yr old Amana and it's close. Louder than I want when it runs. I miss the split adjustable shelves - have to be more careful of what goes where. Went from a door on freezer to pullout drawer. I think I like that. French doors were a little too big for us and side by sides are out. Was happy to actually get this one in stock. Hard to find now days.

Small freezer

Didn’t realize the bottom drawer freezer is smaller than my old top freezer. May be because of the ice maker that I didn’t want and will never hook up.

I love my fridge except that is far nosier than my 10+ yr old fridge. I don’t have the ice maker attached so it is true fridge noise.

GE refrigerator

We love our new GE refrigerator. We are elderly and to have the refrigerator eye level with the freezer below is perfect. It is easily accessible to all items in the refrigerator and the freezer opens so easy at the bottom to make it easy to see and find whatever you need. Recommend this appliance to all people with elderly ailments!!

Basically good but has annoying resonance

This refrigerator is basically fine, but there is an annoying high pitch resonance that occurs when the freezer fan is on low. The GE technician said the freezer fan and motherboard would need to be replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fan cover makes too much noise

So sad that the fan cover in the freezer vibrates so loud you can hear it through the whole house. Called for service. They want to replace the whole fan. ITS THE CHEAP PLASTIC COVER not the fan.
