Nice looking fridge

Nice refrigerator but the energy star compressor is very noisy and annoying. Plus the door never shuts unless you push it closed.

Hi Tubeneck - Thanks for choosing to do business with us! We're so glad to hear you are happy with the appearance of your new refrigerator. The new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your previous older model and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating which is normal. The door does not close on it's own and will need to be pushed closed on a bottom freezer model.

Depending on the placement of the refrigerator in your kitchen, you may want to place a piece of rubber backed carpet beneath the refrigerator to help reduce the sounds. We hope this helps. Best wishes! - Sharon@GEA

This refrigerator is making a noise that sounds like it is sending Morse Code. I plan to have it looked at. Also the freezer clunks when you close it. I do like the storage room it provides

The thing I don’t like is the refrigerator isn’t as cold as I’d like it, I like milk cold.

Door has a bad tendency to want to stay open

Refrigerator has a tendency to "bounce" back open unless you physically push the door until it is shut.

Love the bottom freezer!

The door is constantly not closing. It has been adjusted to as far as it can go and still doesn't always shut-- very annoying. Also freezer size is very disappointing. Thank goodness I have seperate freezer.

Nice looking and works well

This product looks handsome and appears to be well built. It runs quiet and is well thought out. The freezer on the bottom was the selling feature for us. Lights in both compartments, layout of drawers and door shelves are all positives. We do not have the ice-maker connected to a water source yet so I cannot comment on that. Ice-maker water filter is also new for us and appears to be a rather expensive item with short life and not entirely necessary. Display panel at the top of refrigerator is nice but not necessary. We are not in favor or complexity unless it comes with reliability. We lived 65 years without an ice-maker or display panel and survived. Time will tell the story on these.
I would recommend this to a friend!
