Great Refrigerator

I purchased this GE model a month ago and am very happy with it. It is very roomy in the refrigerator and in the door shelves. The latter is well-made and solid (unlike my last fridge which just had bars across the shelves and slender bottles would slip out and hit the floor- or your foot -when you opened the door!). I like having the freezer on the bottom. It doesn't seem to hold quite as much, but it is much easier to find everything. I would have given 5 stars but it is slightly noisy when it cycles; very quiet when it's not.
Love the color (matches stove and microwave), seems like well built solid unit, good lighting, easy to install, I really like the fridge on top. Freezer on bottom is good but the design of the drawers and ice maker isn't great. Ice bin is proportionately too big for the space. It doesn't leave enough room for food. Ice maker will stop producing ice when ice reaches a high level in bin but then it spills off top into bottom of unit occasionally.
Overall very pleased with product & features. Few minor issues ----> when dispensing ice, often cubes/chopped ice everywhere, feel shelves could accommodate more items if arranged slightly differently. Also a little disappointed with quality of shelving materials & amt of interior freezer space taken up by icemaker/dispenser. Love the door storage and ease/placement of controls. I also purchased GE stove & dishwasher at same time...all good overall quality & pleased with performance but still plodding thru manuals to get more familiar with features.
I bought this about 3months ago very very loud runs all the time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
