Great purchase

I love this refrigerator. It is smaller than my previous 32” but it does not seem that I’ve lost any useable space. I love the 2 full size shelves on the door along with 2 smaller adjustable shelves. The freezer is very spacious and keeps foods organized.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice fridge but noisy

This is the third time I've purchased a complete set of GE kitchen appliances. The stainless steel model is lovely. However when the condenser for the fridge/freezer turns on, the fridge makes an on-off noise that sounds like a low foghorn until the cycle is completed. For the price I would expect a quiet model. A bit disturbing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best refrigerator

I love my new fridge my old GE fridge was freezer on the top and the refrigerator part on the bottom, which was very difficult to get the things on the bottom shelf everything that was all tucked in in the back very difficult made it difficult for my husband too so when it was time to buy a new one because the old fridge leaked we chose the bottom freezer type, which is so nice. Everything is up on the top. The shelves on the door fit everything I can take things in and out of the fridge so easily I just love it. Thank you.

GE High Pitch Whine

Until the whine coming from the freezer is fixed I can’t rate this unit any higher. Ear plugs don't help due to the pitch of the whine which requires I leave the room and go upstairs or outside. The control box located on top of the unit vs. inside doesn’t allow me to open the cupboards above. This feature would be better moved inside so when measurements are taken they will be accurate. Parts have been ordered and I’m hoping it will correct the problem. My work-arouond behavior to accommodate the whine is not sustainable.

So far so good

First and foremost g was my preferred appliance of all other dealers. I wanted a refrigerator top and freezer bottom due to the space that I thought I was going to be able to gain from having the freezer on the bottom. Plus I didn't like the fact of bending over anymore. This particular model although is very durable I have had it for the past 4 years and it has been pretty good so far. The I had I have had to replace the drawers the refrigerator door compartments as they easily snap. But thank God there is a replacement that can be had and I have been doing so even though I didn't particularly care to.

The refrigerator is exactly the color, size and style I wanted. I like the bottom freezer. The refridgerator and freezer actually hold more than my old larger side by side. I didn't give it 5 stars because at times, the condenser is noisier than my old refridgerator.
