I am tall and since most of the food is in the fridge I can open the big door and reach in without back pain. I don't know why we ever put the freezer on top.

Was very surprised at how much space there is in this refrigerator.
The width is actually 2 inches smaller than my previous GE refrigerator, but there is so much more room. The depth in the refrigerator and the side shelves gives me so much more space. Have always had GE refrigerators and will continue to buy their products. Love it!!!

Remodel update

We recently remodeled our kitchen and updated our appliances. We had a similar GE fridge and like them both. We kept the original fridge has moved to garage as "extra".

Worth the investment

This one replaced a 15 year old bottom freezer of a different brand. The new one has some nice features such as the information bar at the top of the refrigerator that lets you adjust the temps of the refrigerator & freezer. The ice maker has a convenient on/off switch since it produces more ice than we regularly use. The door shelves are deeper, thus more things get put on the door.
