Great basic features

My husband has certain restrictions when purchasing a refrigerator; no water to the fridge at all. For a refrigerator with basic options, this fridge is great. It has deep door shelves. The height is perfect to fit under the overhead cabinet. The single door makes it not hit the wall beside. I love the door alarm. The digital display for the temperature is visible, and the temperature selection is a range that keeps everything cold, but doesn't freeze products into a block like my old fridge-freezer.

Exceeded expectations

This is a very nice looking, spacious refrigerator. The interior layout is very functional. It feels like everything is easy to see. The only problem is the door needs to be manually push closed. Any other refrigerator I had you could swing it closed and it would seal tightly but this one you have to give it an extra push to ensure it’s closed. I fear someone may not realize that and it will be open to crack unintentionally.

Noisy refrigerator.

Has a loud whirling sound that the manual lists among the 4 sounds it calls normal. I didn't want a high tech unit. This fridge works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Two issues

Two issues I have, first was my error. When reviewing the hight of the unit, I wrote down the cabinet hight not the hight of the door. This has resulted in not being to open the cabinet doors above the installed unit.
The next issue is no instructions on how to level the refrigerator.

Met my expectations!

I like the refrigerator. My last one of 20 years quit working. I had to find one that would fit in the space, was a bottom drawer freezer and had an ice maker. The GE 20 cubic ft bottom drawer model fit the bill. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is so deep and not as wide. I prefer more width to the extra depth.
This model has nice features like a warning noise if the door does not shut fully. The shelves on the door stay as cold as the shelves on the inside of the box.
