the cycles are long
on January 28, 2022

I feel that the cycles are too long. The shortest cycle does not include drying. In this day of trying to save electricity, this seem silly to run your dishwasher 2 or more hours to get it clean and dry. The short cycle does clean it fine.

Response from geappliances.comBy Shayla@GEAGE_appliancesFebruary 3, 2022
Hi there - Congratulations on your new purchase! While we're pleased to see you enjoy the features and quality of this model, we're sorry to hear you do not like how long a cycle takes. We can definitely understand how frustrating this can be and we apologize for this matter. We aim to provide the best performance possible.

Soil level can also determine each cycle length. The turbidity sensor senses how much soil is on the dishes. Heavy soiled dish loads will add more time to the cycle. This is normal function. We suggest to always rinse the dishes before placing in dishwasher.

Also, each option used for cleaning determines cycle time. You may check out pages 5 & 6 of your owner's manual to learn more: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-1.pdf&_ga=

We hope you find this information insightful. We're confident you will enjoy this new addition to your home moving forward! If you have any questions or concerns we are here to help. -Shayla@GEA

I recently upgraded our dishwasher to ease washing dishes and wow! This one is great!! Easy to setup, install , and use. You push three buttons, load it and close! Love the steaming feature and sanitizing.

Great appliance

Smart appliance and you can run either upper or lower rack or both. Could have been better in terms of racks as I have seen in other brands but it just does the job.

Nice quality

It's a quality dishwasher however there are some quirks I do not like. 1- The dishes come out wet even after using the high dry boost. 2- why is there a cycle that is just under 4 hours long?? 3- The touch pad is too sensitive.

I had this dishwasher for 3 weeks and when I first opened the door it made a horrible squeaking noise, then after 2 wash cycles there was rust on the door. I will never buy a GE dishwasher again

We're so sorry that your dishwasher door squeaked when you first opened it and that now, you're seeing rust on the door. This would be upsetting and we can understand your disappointment.

If the door squeaking continues, then we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm or by calling 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET or Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.

Check out this helpful article for tips on how to remedy the issue with the rust on the dishwasher door: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17552&_ga=2.145085748.1494324533.1647957913-1084580016.1645804717.
