Not sturdy
on November 30, 2023
Posted by: Not your dishwasher
The door is weak, the upper rack is difficult to align in position for washing, the lower rack is flimsy (i.e. wheels come off often, rack goes off tracks easily).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cycle takes too long.
on February 10, 2024
Posted by: DavidRA
Although this machine does an excellent job cleaning when using all the options it takes 4 1/2 hours to complete the cycle. The 1-hour cycle does an ok job cleaning but doesn't dry at all. Everything was still wet when I opened the door. I was there when it was installed. The machine has a very thin layer of insulation compared to the 25-year-old machine I had replaced. I'm sure heat loss and noise suppression suffers because of this.
Next time I would pay more attention to the cycle times before purchasing.

It is normal for many dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions. We recommend referring to the troubleshooting steps at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18914#:~:text=It%20is%20normal%20for%20many,while%20the%20heater%20is%20activated.

Worked for less than a week.

It worked the first 2 times using it. Now after a cycle I open the door and there's soap running down the door. It's not working correctly now and it hasn't even been a week. Very stressed.

Cleans semi well

Overall it works really well. The only issue that I have noticed is that we have horrible water spots left after each wash and it doesn't seem as is the rinse aide is being dispensed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We'd like to assist you with your new dishwasher. Please refer to the article below for some useful tips on using the rinse aid dispenser:

https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38927

Please make sure you are using a high quality rinse agent. You can find these on page 5 of the owner's manual. Here is the link:

If the suggestions don't resolve the issue, please schedule a service appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

The pull out shelves seem quite unstable. They are always coming off their tracks. The quality seems poor.
