GE Dishwasher
on January 6, 2024

Our installed GE Dishwasher is acceptable. We did not have a choice in what specific model that was installed in our new Condo. We need to run the Normal cycle that lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes. In our previous home we owned a Bosch dishwasher that would clean all our dishes equally as well using a 60 minute cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello-Thank you for taking the time to review your dishwasher. We do apologize that a normal wash cycle is taking longer than you expected. It is normal for dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions. Cycles times vary because of the clean sensors due to the sensor extending or decreasing cycle time and number of fills based on the soil level. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. Also, in using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water. We hope this helps. Thank you for being part of the GE Appliances family.-Krystal@GEAppliances

The dishwasher does an okay job. I only been using it for about a month. I know there is a dry boost, but the dishes are damp and I never feel them warm. The two hours cycle is too long.

Hey there- Thank you for sharing this insight with us. We are sorry that the cycles are taking longer than you expected. We're also very sorry to hear that the dishes are not getting dry enough with dry boost. We will make sure that we pass this information on to our design team. We hope as you continue to use your dishwasher it will exceed your expectations. Thank you for choosing GE Appliances.-Krystal@GEAppliances
