Spunky Shine Dishwasher: Budget-Friendly Cleaning
on December 27, 2023

from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Pros: Powerful cleaning: Tackles grime and baked-on messes with ease. Semi-quiet operation: Barely a murmur, even during heavy cycles. Affordable price: Ideal for budget-conscious buyers.
Cons: Silverware basket and racks could be sturdier. Cycle options may require familiarization.
Overall: A surprisingly powerful and quiet dishwasher at an unbeatable price. Minor quirks don't overshadow its excellent cleaning performance and value. A clear winner for budget-minded households.

Glorified Drainer

It's new! It matches all of my other appliances. I prefer to hand wash my dishes and use it mainly as a glorified drainer.

Works great

I’ve only had this dishwasher for a few days, but so far there’s nothing I don’t like about it. It’s relatively quiet, and it’s spacious and has a nice setup for dishware and utensils. I have used the dry boost a couple times and dishes came out with barely any water on them after the cycle, but it’s to be expected. I was initially worried with other peoples reviews about dishes not drying well during dry boost, but maybe over time the dry boost doesn’t work as well. I will say for a cheaper model dishwasher I think it’s great so far.

1 hour should not be the minimal time for a cycle.

Hello there! Thank you for providing feedback on the new dishwasher. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the length of the cycles. It is normal for dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions. Cycles times vary because of the clean sensors due to the sensor extending or decreasing cycle time and number of fills based on the soil level.
Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. We will be sure to pass your comments along to our product team as we continue to make improvements to our appliances. If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to reach back out to us. -Brittany@GEAppliances
