Endless Errors
on October 10, 2025
Posted by: Endless Errors
from Des Moines, Iowa
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 14 months in the unit started outputting the Failure to Drain error. Pressure sensor cleaned, and issue persisted. Swapped pressure sensor, same issue. Swapped drain hose, same issue. Swapped drain pump and issue went away. One week later the H20 error occurred. Swapped back to original pressure sensor and it worked for one cycle. Everything works properly, but we can't get the unit to complete a cycle. We are now going to swap the main board and see what happens.

Not A Reliable Model

This model is not designed well at all! The interior parts are very cheap and break easily. The bottom rack roller fell off during a cycle and fell on the heating element and melted. I strongly recommend NOT purchasing this model

Disappointing and not well made.

The dishwasher is small. The shelves are not very stable, and always feel like they're about to fall out. Unfortunately, it also does not clean very well; at least 1-2 items every load must be rewashed. It's a disappointment.

hate this dishwasher

The racks on this washer are poorly designed. It holds much less than the Kichen aide it replaced. The rack on top is too upright leaving the tops of the glasses and cups with too much water, and they fall over too easily when you pull it out. The bottom one needs another guide. You cannot use the heat boost with the 1 hour wash, and the 1 hour wash leaves the dishes very wet. The Kitchen aide had a 5 minute heat at the end of the wash, which, when not using the heated dry, so the dishes dried quickly.

Hi - Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding your GE Appliances dishwasher. We are saddened to hear this unit has not lived up to your expectations and apologize for your disappointment and inconvenience. We encourage you to check the incoming water temperature to ensure it is a minimum of 120 degrees F. Hot water is not only important to good wash performance, it also can improve the dry performance., You can check the water temperature going into the dishwasher using a candy or meat thermometer. Turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher, place the thermometer in a glass and let the water run into the glass until the temperature stops rising (one minute or more). If the incoming water is less than 120 degrees, your water heater may need to be adjusted. Feedback like this is extremely important to us as we continually strive to improve the products and services we offer. We hope we can restore your faith in our brand. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
