How am I supposed to carry this? Lifting from the handle separates the top from the bottom.

Small portable Blackstone

Good quality unit
Disappointed in the heat distribution on the cooktop.
Has extremely hot spots while just inches away stays cool.
Makes cooking anything larger than a single egg a difficult task.
I have two other Blackstone grills(larger) and the surface heats much more evenly
