Spots on flat grill. Is it normal?

Thank you for your review! Yes, those spots on the griddle top are completely normal. They are welding tack marks from the x-brace underneath, which helps stabilize the griddle. These markings will fade over time as your unit is seasoned and used.

It’s good that cook on while camping. The legs were bend and wouldn’t fold down properly so decided to not use the legs.
