Great griddle - accessories limited

Received this for Fathers' Day. Great griddle with a compact size for tailgate & RV camping. As another reviewer noted, the collapsible legs take a little getting used to - but, easily overcome. Just make sure you pack a bubble level with your grill accessories for setup, Accessories are a little disappointing. There is no specific travel cover for the Model 1939 On The Go; you just have to make do with a little bit of a misfit cover. Also, I still have not found a propane adapter to fit this model so can connect to RV propane quick-connect. The standard Blackstone 17" griddle and the Blackstone On The Go 17" griddle appear to use different propane adapters. Those that I've purchased that state compatible for the 17"/22" griddle look same but will not marry onto the 17" On The Go propane port... the On The Go appears to require about 1/4" longer neck on the adapter itself. Still have to lug the propane tank out with my griddle. Disappointing.

This is a cooking champ! I bought this mainly for camping in the mountains but it is used 3 to 4 times a week on my back porch!

Game changer

After a little convincing that we needed this griddle rather then a camping BBQ for camping (this was more useful can be used all the time rather then just camping)we finally purchased a few months ago ... What a game changer I used it in the backyard most of the summer cooking on it almost every night great for backyard and camping and the propane last forever. We will be upgrading next year to a bigger one

I had bought this for my mom for Christmas. We were excited to use it for camping. We are very disappointed. Only the middle get hot. Not sure if we got a faulty one or not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The solution varies if you are using a large tank with an adapter or just the small 1lb bottle. Your regulator has a safety feature that can trip if you leave the knobs on or if you turn them on too fast. Absolutely love my new grill, have it properly seasoned and am amazed at how evenly it cooks, along with a very easy clean up. Do wish it came with a travel bag for the grill top to keep it all organized and clean.

Great set up but not reaching temp

I didn't have a camp set up, I've been cooking over live fire so was very excited to get this griddle. The griddle top has a hard time heating up (especially when bacon on a cold camp morning). It's also bulkier than I would like with the two part body/legs and griddle top with hood. Good for if you can set up and leave it a couple days.
