Relatively easy construction. Poor quality issue where cast iron blackstone won't fit on frame due to frame warp. Used rotary grinder to widen hole to correct warping. Not great out of the box

One the fence with this griddle

I read most of the reviews from other people who purchased this griddle. Some reviews were good some were not so good and some were bad! I assembled my griddle with ease, very straightforward directions, but that silver heat shield almost everyone mention, well mine was also missing 3 of the 4 rivets to keep the metal shield in place l. I’ll have to head over to Lowe’s and get some screws to fix this. Also the griddle plate doesn’t set evenly; it wobbles a little just like the others who bought this griddle. Outside of these two minor issues it looks great it’s sturdy looking. I’m hoping it fires up with no problems. Fingers are crossed. We pay a lot for these grills and shouldn’t have to run out to the hardware store to fix a brand new griddle.

So far, everything looks good. However, there appears to be bottle opener mounting screws and tapped holes on the front, but no bottle opener.☹️
