Awesome Griddle...

I bought this for myself after reading the reviews. WOW... I am having a ton of fun cooking on this griddle. I loved to cook on the grill prior but really loving the flat surface and the different temperatures to cook various foods. What a noticeable difference. I have only had this unit for two months and have done steaks, breakfast, shrimp, burgers, sausage and along with other foods. I talked to a friend of mine about the griddle and the fun. He to loves to cook and was also looking at getting one. Well my wife and I felt why not get this for a house warming gift since he is moving. Man he was so pumped to get this as a gift!!!! Looking forward to doing a ton more cooking off this AWESOME Griddle.

So far, I love my griddle! Did a proper seasoning of course. Putting it together was straightforward. I, with sore back and bad left knee :-), did it by myself, but 2 people would be easier. I do have one major gripe though, that is the drip channel. A lot of time, the grease or liquid would drip into outside the catch can, making a lot of mess. Blackstone needs to address this as soon as possible. I can be something as simple as bent down the drip tab at the end of the channel. My one other suggestion is make the griddle top's height adjustable. Why? Cause it would make for a great stir fry since that needs high heat. A lot of my friends and family members are jealous of my griddle :-)

Loving this 36" griddle! Arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. I did order a hard griddle cover separately and also a cover for the entire station. We have enjoyed several dinners outside. Very easy to season and clean. Looking forward to using it all summer!

Finally used my new 36' griddle this weekend. It was fabulous!! It worked very well considering it took so long for Blackstone and Fed Ex to deliver it. My family and I enjoyed it immensely. You can cook so many foods at one time. The clean up is the best, very simple and fast.The cover fits beautifully over the grill. I'm so glad I purchased this rather than the usual grills where the food falls down between the grates and it's a lot to clean up. I highly recommend this product for outdoor cooking.

My wife and I between us have 7 kids and I wished that I had this many years ago. We just bought before the 4th so it got a great work out. This is very easy to set up, heat up quickly and moist importantly cook evenly every inch. This is a must have for anyone cooking large meals or entertaining. The only feed back that I would give to the design team is the grease drain. If you have any wind or if the unit itself is not quite level the grease will drain underneath the lip back towards grill before dripping into the grease catch. I would suggest placing some kind of pipe on the end to extend it to the middle of the grease catch. Great product I have already sold three for you.

TERRIBLE GREASE DRAIN DESIGN!

I bought this last year and this is my first time cooking on it. What a terrible design to drain the grease!!! Grease all over the patio - it drains out the hole and misses the tray they provide. I would not buy this product again - I’m sorry I bought this one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are pretty stunned by this company. Ordered this on Monday, got it Friday of the same week! Instructions and assembly were completely effortless. And THEN... we COOKED on it... the quality and everything about this grill is phenomenal. I got two perfectly marbled ribeye steaks as our first meal and they were steakhouse perfect. That’s how I won Father’s Day... (wink wink)

This is fun to cook on. I love it. However the sticker on one shelf when taken off peels all the paint off with it. Emailed them for a new shelf. Haven’t heard back. Also the corners of the shelves are very sharp. They will tear the cover if your not careful. But I do enjoy cooking on it. Clean up is more difficult than a normal grill though.
