I bought this grill a year ago, I have a catering business and i needed a flat griddle to make Asian Inspired rice bowls at a farmers market. I did not have the funds to buy a way more costly commercial griddle. I was amazed at how great my Blackstone worked, how fast the high quality steel griddle seasoned. I thought my Blackstone griddle would only be a temporary solution for my foodservice needs. It totally wasn’t , but i have to say I did need to buy another griddle , when i saw Blackstone came out with a stainless steel version I bought two of them, thank you Blackstone for making a great product ,,,,,,,,Chef Stan

Need to fix the grease from dripping down front leg!!

Amazing grill with all the attachments available got this for my birthday September to use for cooking for the youth basketball teams and families that I volunteered to coach year round. The only issue I have is it makes a big mess in the front leg and front of gass knobs. I hope the new design for the top with the center grease trap works better. I try and push off the grease and it's so hard to move it down the small swallow lip in the front. Does anyone have a review of the new top and if so do can order it by itself. Would give it five stars if grease was fixed

I got the box in four days which is excellent. I was worried about shipping damage but the packaging is done very well. I thought it would take a few hours to build but I completely assembled in 30 min. Unless you are young and very strong, I suggest you have someone help you.
Seasoning took some time but was simple. My first cook was great. Strange to say but I think the food tastes better than cooking inside. And it really is cool cooking with this much space. Griddle is very well built. I really love this thing.
One thing is you really need to take care of it and clean it after every cook. This is a must have.

The legs on the griddle are poorly made and are extremely wobbly. Wish we would have gotten a different griddle.

I received this as a gift for Christmas. Assembled it on Friday...went well until I got to the bottom of the box to find a rusted griddle. What the heck Blackstone?!?

Awesome product, used mine for the first time. Regulator and ignition system is terrible. Got mine set up, could not get full flame. Assumed the regulator, hose or burner manifold was bad. I drove 40 miles one way to exchange it, got it back, same thing. I then assumed maybe something wrong with propane valve. So, I exchanged propane bottles, got home, same thing. I changed the hose/regulator assembly with an adjustable regulator/hose off of my fish fryer, shazam! Worked great after that.
If you buy get an adjustable regulator, the one sent is not adequate. The striker system has a lot to be desired as well, not a big enough spark to insure quick ignition or propane.

I was SOOOO excited when I purchased my Blackstone, but living in South Florida the maintenance on this thing has really let me down! I LOVE cooking and I loved it even more when I was using my Blackstone, but the upkeep in our humid weather has really let me down ... I ALWAYS oil my grill after cleaning and no matter what! It's ALWAYS rusty when I go back to use it... I purchased my Blackstone to make my life easier cooking for a family of 6, BUT it has been ANYTHING but that! It's almost one of the WORST investments since I can't keep up with the cleaning and maintenance this griddle REALLY needs!
