Looks good/doesn't work

Have the same problem as others. Even at highest fan setting it will still set off smoke alarm. I read something about removing damper in vent has flapper. Is this what whirlpool recommends?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very simple and average at best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very basic and the same for over 10 years. The fan gets very dirty regardless of how much the filers attempt to hold. We do Asian cooking so design and functionality is very important! This isn’t designed well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice-looking fan. Fan and light buttons are loose and feel a little cheap. Overall, though, happy with the separate fan situation as it's a much better and more efficient configuration than a microwave with a fan over the stove. I've cleaned it with stainless steel cleaner and it cleans okay. Just know that you get what you pay for.

Budget Friendly, needs design improvement oil leak

Brand new home, builder installed, Nice and quiet. Does it job mostly well. The part I don't like is, the motor dripping oil.
