Did not live up to its name - leaks in rain

This tent is spacious and great for dry weather, but it leaked when raining. We set it up perfectly, with the rain fly properly guyed out, etc. We were also careful not to touch or have anything touching the inside walls. A few hours into the rain, water started dripping slowly through one panel of the rain fly. I suspect they failed to waterproof that panel of fabric. Rain also leaked in at the seams where the floor material is joined with the sides. Rain also leaked through the end-panels of the tent, again right through the tent fabric. I am estimating that about a cup of water leaked in through the sides and seams. The real problem was the water dripping from above through the rain fly because we had to move everyone to avoid the dripping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rain every day

Took this tent to the mountains where it rained every day and once all night plus a hail storm and the only time it leaked was when it was being pummeled by hail. The rest of our week was soggy on the outside but dry in the tent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My family stayed in this tent for two nights. It was easy to set up. The main poles stay upright while you put up the rest. Plenty of nettting for air flow. The netting is strong too. My dog jumped up on one of the windows and the netting did not break.

Me, my wife, two daughters and niece took it camping for four nights, and it rained the last night. No issues and there was sufficient room. It took a minute to figure out how to set it up as the instructions weren’t too clear, but it wasn’t a problem. We didn’t take the time to put the divider up, but the door is a nice touch. It’s hidden, but there is a small inlet in the back for an electrical cord to slip through. Overall, this purchase suited us very well.

Stake loop ripped apart

Only used the tent three times in 1.5 years and on the third camping trip the stake loop ripped out while pulling it tight. Nothing excessive just a normal pull and the thread that holds the loop in came apart. Now the tent has a giant hole in the corner. And go figure it’s out side the 1 year warranty. Will not buy a Coleman tent again. It would be different if they would replace, but they only make tents to last year apparently.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poles are weak

This is a great tent. Lots of space. Doesn't hold up to wind. The end of the poles break off if there is wind and tent becomes useless!

Best large tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my second weathermaster 10 person tent. I bought my first one back several years ago when they first came out. I have used it I. Several different types of location and weather. I had to replace my first weathermaster due to a house fire and I went out and got a new weathermaster during liking the durability and ease of set up. I would buy a 3rd if I had too
