Spacious and dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Coleman 10-person tent. I love this tent for our family. It is very spacious and keeps you dry. I fit 8 people in it at one time. My children won't camp in anything else.
Cons: The older version had a screen house at the front of the tent. The more recent version does not. My only other con is the middle pole is the hardest one to put in the stake. It feels like the fabric should have 1-2 inches more of "give".

Love this tent

Have had this tent for about a year, we enjoy camping in the mountains. Weather can be difficult. Has been through rain, winds of 30 mph and came through with flying colors. Did treat the rain fly prior too the first use.
Can be set up with only one person but I recommend two, specially if there is any wind. Some struggle with placing the poles in the foot attachments. Lot's of room. My wife and I use cots and use a small table with room to spare.
When using in hot weather, open all windows and set up in the shade. We have used a tarp with reflective surface placed over the fly, to keep things cool and under the fly to keep things warmer.
Love the door that will always keep it's self closed. Looking forward to many more years of enjoyment.

Great Bang for the Buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this in cold and rainy conditions. During the day it was 35 degrees F and rainy (two days straight). At night the temperature dropped into the 20s. The tent had no leaking problem. I previously seam sealed it. The condensation did create small drops in the corners however. I would not hesitate using this tent again.

Roof is porous

The tent is fine if it doesn't rain. Good even.
But if it rains, the entire roof leaks. All of it, not just in one or two spots. After an hour or so of rain, it rains inside the tent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice size! waterproof but not windproof

Ample room for 6 single air mattresses with room to spare. The tent bottom is excellent, and design is generally good. But severe wind can flatten the tent and bend poles. There doesn't appear to be replacement tent poles available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great tent for a family camping!

we have had this tent for about 2 years now and am very impressed at how well its made and how well it withstands the elements. we live in northern Montana where the wind never stops blowing with driving rain and still dry inside. overall I am very impressed. the only down fall for the tent where the instructions but they say the new ones have revised instructions.

8 yrs and going strong

We have had this tent for 8 years. We are a family of 4 and camp in California. We camp 4-5 weekends a year. I LOVE this tent. It is still in great shape and working well. We have been in blasting heat and freezing cold. It is a solid option for both times. It is HUGE and as such, takes a while to put up. But if you are looking for a big tent to hold your family-- this is a good option to consider.

Great Bargain

Another tent was damaged by a tree limb. But thanks to this tent we had plenty of room for everyone. Thanks for this great product.
