Wind, rain, branches & snow our tent never failed!

We have had this tent for 10 years, and used it every year with multiple set-up each year. It has seen multiple high wind storms, thunderstorms, hail storms and even a freak snow storm. It has remained upright and 95% dry through it all with no maintenance done to it in all those years. Sure two poles are slightly bent, but it had a picnic table blown on it. It only now after @ 100 uses the fly leaks and the tent storage bag is beyond repair. We are desperate to repair our home away from home because we don't want to buy a new one and risk it failing on us

First night out leaked like Niagra falls!

We replaced our Colmen Weather Master 12 that we LOVED after 10 years. This is slightly smaller and not screens one end, but we loved the D door so we went with this similar model. Took it out and the first eight hours after setting up we had rain. There were leaks from both doors, through the doors and the zippers. Water weaped in the walls and the ceiling dripped through the rain fly all night. We had pools of water in just about every corner. I have not seen a tent leak like this since my Grandpa's old canvas tent! We were Colman people but this is just disappointing as so much money was lost!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The floor tore at first use, rendering the tent non-waterproof. Coleman denied the warranty claim.

Family soaking wet during heavy rain Even after waterproofing the tent fly twice. Great tent if it doesn’t rain. Recommend using a tarpaulin over the top of the “rain fly”. I regret the purchase of this item. My wife doesn’t want to go camping anymore as a result of the appalling experience. I purchased the tent in the US and brought back to Australia.

Family of Six!

This tent is our home away from home. We have 4 children and a dog, and our setup includes 2 Coleman double-size cots on either side and a camp kitchen table in between to serve as our vanity/catch-all. We've camped from Joshua Tree to Big Sur, to Yosemite, in rain and shine. We LOVE the hinged doors, the screens, the windows, and best of all -- the ability to sleep under the stars with the rainfly off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Durable, Handled Weather Great

I bought this tent despite the many reviews about it no mastering the weather as advertised.
I am currently sitting in the Black Hills of South Dakota after enduring an entire night of pounding thunderstorms and rain (heavy).
Not one single leak. Rain fly didn’t leak. All seams held.
So what is different from my review to others? Not sure if others used Scotch Guard on their tents. But I routinely set mine up before use and apply a good coat. It seems to do the trick.
The pictures taken were from today 07-20-20, you can still see the moisture bearing on the rain fly.
It even took several falling pieces of tree bark like a champ.
Overall great tent so far. Requires 2 ppl to set up. Love the space, love you can stand straight up. Yes the instructions sewn in show the other model with the screen’d in room. No biggie.
Overall happy with the purchase.

"WeatherMaster" not waterproof!

I thought I loved everything about this tent until a hard rain lasting all night. The rain fly leaks and water is dripping in from the roof so I have a tarp covering me in my cot but I am soaked along with all my stuff. There are deep puddles of water on the floor. The rain is also obnoxiously loud on such a large surface area. Forced to go sleep in the warm, dry car.
