Alerts nightly, app doesn't work well.

I love the idea of this product, but it doesn't work very well. I get a yellow alert at least once a night which wakes my baby. It means the sock isn't on correctly, which means it moves it my baby's sleep. It's very touchy. The app also takes forever to open. And most of the time I have to open the app, force close it and then open it again and wait up to a minute for it to work. It's a hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too many alarms

I was really excited about this product. Unfortunately it does not work for my family and I regret buying it. The alarm goes off all night, saying that it is disconnected. I have stopped using it because we can't get any sleep.

I love the Owlet! The peace of mind I have had knowing that we will be alerted if something is off with our daughter's pulse and oxygen is priceless. I am forever grateful to the men who created this sock! The sock can come off, and it can be a bit of a bother when the base station starts blasting it's song if we walk too far away from it with her, but those things are far outweighed by the pro's of this device. The only thing that has been a real bother is that the App doesn't always pull up on my phone. I have to open it twice most times in order to get it to work. This will bring peace of mind to any parent with a new baby or one with special health needs. Try the Owlet out and see for yourself :)

This monitor is worth it's weight in gold. Since I have waited so long for my bundle of joy, this gives me peace of mind while I sleep that he is doing ok. We all do our part to keep baby safe, but this Owlet Monitor is the best tool I could ever ask for.

Worth the Money!

This is the greatest product out there! The peace of mind I have with my little one being in the other room while sleeping is fantastic! I was a little hesitant to spend the money, but after using it one time I knew it was worth every penny! The only compliant I have is that I wish the base station could be placed farther away from the sock. Our little ones room is only separated from our room by a small bathroom but we still cannot keep the base station in our room. It will only work in his room, which is not good if we get an alert because then it wakes him up. But other than that, this product is fantastic and I recommend it to everyone!

Product is good but could be great for price paid. Disappointed that you are unable to see the stats on your baby during the course of the night. You are only able to see in real time the heart rate and oxygen levels - even though this information is being collected in the background by the company. App is good but there are times when the app advises she is wiggling and the base unit is picking up the readings. This happens even with the newest sock design. The base unit does not operate with batteries so if the power goes out the entire monitoring system does not work. Unlike the Snuza which is self contained and can be used when the power is out or even in the car on a road trip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good concept, bad design

I love the concept of this product. Being able to see my son's vitals is amazing, especially in the newborn stage and definitely gives us peace of mind. However, the design of this sock is horrible. The sock is constantly falling off in the middle of the night which sounds a yellow alarm and wakes us all up. I would say most nights of the week I am getting yellow alarms. My son is now 10 months old and very mobile so it is very difficult to get the sock on in the first place and with just a little movement the sock will fall off. I have been told my customer service to "put a sock on top." But I was already doing this and putting footed pajamas on top of that. It still falls off. When your baby is sleeping through the night but the alarm is waking him up, that is very frustrating. I would buy this just for the peace of mind in the newborn stage, but after about 6 months old and your baby can move at night, its worthless. The app is also terrible and has a hard time connecting on a regular basis.
