Peace of mind

Had the sock now for over 6 months and it works brilliantly and able to provide readings accurately. It an additional safeguard that provides some peace of mind while sleeping and that is just priceless.

We have a first floor master, so our children sleep pretty far away from us. Our youngest was a little congested at birth (I only pushed for 10-15 minutes which didn't allow him to get everything out of his lungs), and we were concerned at 3 weeks when we were putting him in his nursery. Owlet made the difference! We slept without a problem knowing he was being monitored at all times, and he slept too! Thanks, Owlet, for making our nights less stressful!

Use the owlet on our new born. Very good product and no issues yet. Some other reviews say that it doesn't work well on infants. We have not had an issue with it. Used to use the angel care system with our first but have moved on to this. Very easy to set up and use. Only complaint is Bluetooth is a little weak. At first we had base station in our room right next to babies room. Keep getting a weak signal snd alarm would go off. Once we moved base station into her room we have had no issues. Just don't forget to turn off before taking her out of her room or it will remind you in 60 seconds that you didn't shut off. But is a great product and being a firefighter/EMT, I know and trust this technology. Well worth the cost for the piece of mind it gives me at night.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Bluetooth on the weaker side

This product just did not work well for us. Too many inaccurate O2 readings. Our pediatrician recommended returning it.

It won't connect to my house wifi and after three hours on tech support they finally said "what router do you have? Oh sorry we don't work with that ITS TOO ADVANCED" I've never heard anything like that. Ever. "But don't worry you'll still get peace of mind, you don't need the app." Bull. Without the app I have NO idea what readings are happening just a green light and then false alarms. Three false red alarms. The first I almost had a heart attack. After that twice I've been sitting there watching him and all of a sudden the alarm goes off red. He is breathing normal and his pulse is fine. If I get false alarms how the heck am I supposed to have peace of mind that I don't have a false green light? Total. Junk.
Cons: Doesn't work with "advanced" internet routers, False alarms

Such a great piece of mind

My son was born with a heart condition that I wasn't expecting. Since I brought him home from the hospital, I was super paranoid about whether he was breathing ok. Many times I would get up in the middle of the night to check on him. I am so happy I bought the Owlet. It lets you monitor their heart rate and oxygen saturation which is really important. This gave me such a piece of mind, you couldn't imagine. It works very well. Here are my cons: 1. First you have to have an iphone. This does not work with Android which is not advertised in a way. 2. The other issue I have is that the oxygen saturation parameters are set to go off if the levels are <80%. I personally believe this should be much higher. 3. Blue tooth connection works great; however the distance from the sock and the base works well no more than 1 room apart. I tried two rooms apart and did not pick up a signal. Other than that, I am really happy I bought the Owlet. I definitely would recommend it.

PEACE of mind!

This product has given me so much peace. I didn't buy the Owlet monitor for my son until he was 4 months old. I had started waking up in a panic, worried he wasn't breathing so I decided to buy the owlet to ease my own anxiety, knowing I would feel better with him being monitored. My husband and I lost a baby 7 years ago, not related to SIDS, but losing her has heightened my anxiety with our other children. I have felt so much better and slept so much better knowing that he is fine. We previously used a different monitoring system (for my daughter who is now 6) and there were so many false alarms we just stopped monitoring because the false alarms were causing me more anxiety. We have had NO false alarms with the owlet. The sock fits securely and if there is any concern with the fit of the sock, the yellow alarm lets us know. The system is super user friendly. I will also mention that I am a NICU nurse and am used to working with hospital grade equipment. The Owlet is such a quality and solid product. I have nothing but great things to say about Owlet and Owlet as a company and I highly recommend to anyone considering a monitoring system for their baby.

Saved my new baby nephew!

I have been a dedicated owlet Mom for almost 11 months. My son came home from the NICU and I placed alot of trust in the Owlet to alert me to any issues. Three months ago when my sister had a baby I strongly recommended that she also use the Owlet. A week ago she was using the Owlet when her new baby boy had a cold (or so they thought) when they got four red alarms in a row and the monitor was picking up low oxygen levels- so they took him into the hospital. Turns out he had RSV and was admitted to the hospital for several days. Owlet has been a true life saver, cannot recommend it enough! Brings me to tears when I think about what my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew went through!
