Great Idea frustrating experience

The interface on the iPhone is straightforward and easy to read. Heart rate and Oxygen saturation rates were comparable to what we were experiencing in the hospital before discharge so my guess is the unit is measuring accurately enough to provide peace of mind if working. (see below comments)
Cons: Base Unit malfunction, Unresponsive Tech support, unresponsive customer service
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Definitely Recommend

We have had our owlet for a little over 6 months and we love it! It gives us a peace of mind and restful sleep knowing our baby is being safely monitored. I will use an owlet smart sock for future children and i recommend this product to all of our friends that also have infants!

Peace of mind!

I bought this after my daughter contracted RSV at only two weeks old. We spent eleven days in the hospital, three of those days were spent in the PICU. She was on high flow oxygen and still was struggling to breathe. Her CO2 levels were double what they should be, and the doctor described it as being in the garage with the car running. They diagnosed her with respiratory failure. I was so scared to come home once we were discharged, and I actually purchased the Owlet smart sock while still in the hospital! The smart sock 100% saved me from being in a constant state of anxiety and I am forever thankful for it! It was so nice to easily check her oxygen levels at home and know that she wasn’t struggling.

First time mom worries

I don’t even have words for the owlet sock. I’m a first time mom. My son got a cold at about 2 months and I was so worried that he couldn’t breath well. Husband got me the owlet and at 13 months still using. Not only does it let me sleep peacefully but I can also track how long my son sleeps for. We added the owlet cam as well. I couldn’t be happier with both products. A little pricey for most people BUT totally worth it.

I love my smart sock 2! As an ER doctor, I have always had a great concern about SIDS. I received this as a gift from a coworker at my baby shower. I sleep better with this product ( along with safe sleep practices) knowing that this is monitoring by newborn. I highly recommend it to mothers.

Only way I've gotten some actual sleep

I bought the combo and couldn't be happier. The sock and monitor work wonderfully together and have given me such peace of mind. I had horrible anxiety and would watch my daughter sleep instead of sleeping myself. Now I get great sleep knowing that I will be alerted if something is going wrong. My husband calls the monitor my favorite T.V. show now bc I like to check in on her and knowing I can see her at anytime is a blessing. The app makes it easy to just look over at my phone and know she is perfectly fine. My daughter is 19 weeks old and I got mine when she was 12 weeks....only wish I would have had it at birth bc I probably would have gotten much more sleep! Thank you owlet for making this first time moms life a little easier.

I bought this with my first baby and had nothing but false alarms and mini heart attacks. We stopped using it because it was never accurate. My husband suggested we give it a try on our new baby. We have the same WiFi that we did with my first, and now all of a sudden it won’t connect?! I absolutely hate this product. It’s way too expensive and doesn’t even work. Please save yourself the expense and the anger and buy something else

Great product for worried parents

After losing our middle daughter to SIDS this product has really been able to give my family peace of mind whenot we are asleep at night. It actually alarmed red when my newborn daughter got out of her swaddle blanket and it ended up over her face. I don't think I ever jumped out of bed so fast!
Pros: Peace of mind
Cons: No Android app, Bluetooth alarms quite often
