Amazing! A must-have

I debated getting this for so long while I was pregnant. A week after bringing our baby home I finally ordered because I was so nervous sleeping at night worried she might stop breathing without me knowing. This gives me such peace of mind that while I'm sleeping, I'll be alerted if something goes wrong. It also tracks her sleep and shows me how many times she woke up, what her sleep quality was like, etc.
We did have a high heart rate alert go off once when she was awake and feeding and completely fine, but the app says there may be some false alarms, feeding being one of them as it naturally raises their heart rate. But that is the only alert we have had thus far! Really love this product.

Great Peace of Mind

We bought the Owlet Sock 3 the week my son turned 3 months. He has always struggled with sleeping on his back (acid reflux and preference), and after a week where none of us slept more than 4 hours each night, we caved and IT WAS THE BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE! We bought the sock because it was clear that none of us would sleep until our son was able to sleep on his tummy, and his pediatrician (and numerous experts) would not relent on him having to be able to roll consistently before this was "allowed". The risk of SIDS was too high for us to completely ignore their advice, and this sock provided the peace of mind we needed. We started using this sock and putting him on his tummy on a Friday in early January, and our son has slept through the night for 4 straight weeks. The peace of mind this provides is a godsend so that we don't have to wait until he can roll to let him sleep how he wants. The alerts through the app are more useful to us than through the device since I keep my phone on the nightstand, and any time I get anxious about his well-being I can pull the app up and immediately get a reading on his heart rate and oxygen level (I probably woke up and checked it every two hours that first weekend). As an added benefit, I now know which heart rate levels are light/deep sleep and which are awake and the graph feature is great to see how well he has slept throughout the night as well as giving a nightly sleep total. Because of the Sock, we found out that our son is actually self-soothing throughout the night, which we would have never known since the monitor isn't picking up any noise he is making when he wakes. Truly, I was a skeptic about spending so much on a monitoring tool for a baby to wear, but our experience has massively changed that. We went from 4 hours of fitful sleep every night to 11 solid hours nightly. Two thumbs up, would highly recommend!

Great product my kiddo has medical issues and problems with o2 stats dropping I love being able to have access to his stats right on my phone

Huge relief

We brought our baby home from the NICU at 35 weeks. I like being able to know that my baby is safe and the Smart Sock helps by letting us know just that.
The app is very responsive and clear of clutter. Just the information needed and any additional information is neatly tucked away. If the device for whatever reason loses signal I'm alerted by the included dock and by my phone right away. No delays.
So far we haven't been alerted of any HR issues or o² issues. I can sleep well at night knowing if there is, I'll be alerted right away.

Peace of mind

As a first time mother with no idea what to expect, I insisted on buying the owlet gen 3 smart sock - I thought maybe I was being too worrisome about something going wrong at night or SIDS, but boy was I wrong. The first night home from the hospital with our newborn we were too tired to set the sock up and I didn’t sleep a wink. Every night since she has worn it and it provides such peace of mind knowing that if something were to be wrong the dock would alert me and I am sleeping so much better. The app is very user friendly and the sock itself is comfortable and does not seem to bother baby at all. I’d definitely recommend the sock, it’s worth the money!

Peace of mind, exactly like they say!

I went back and forth with my first child on getting this device. I had major anxiety with her sleeping alone in the bassinet and would wake up literally every 10 minutes to check on her. My husband and I decided to get this sock with our second child to try and avoid the PPA, and I’m so excited! I was able to try this out on our 2 year old (still under 30 lbs) just to see what the features look like, and I’m amazed. This is going to be an absolute godsend in a couple months. I can’t wait to finally be able to sleep for at least an hour stretch without worrying if our daughter is still breathing.

This sock has definitely helped my husband and I sleep at night with less worry. It alerts us immediately if something seems wrong with our little one. And the sounds alert you without being annoying haha it fits comfortably on his foot and the battery lasts all night. I love everything about it!

Major improvements

We had the first edition owlet with our first child 3 years ago. Some of the major problems were that it constantly got knocked off his foot from him kicking and would go off in the middle of the night, and there was a very small range that the sensor could be away from the base (we couldn’t even be across the house without it going off and staying out of range). This new edition has a much more secure sock and farther range and gets readings from across the house. We also live owlet for the peace of mind. I have trouble sleeping and worrying about SIDS with a newborn, so this helps me relax and be able to get much needed rest during those sleep deprived months.
