We love our owlet. The first one wasn't working properly but they replaced it fairly quickly. We are on our third due to a dog eating the second one - but we love it so much it was worth paying again! We always sleep with footie pjs and have never had any issues falling off

My sons father has sever sleep apnea, so we were concerned with my son having it as well. Based on his loud snoring when we came home from the hospital it was an evern bigger concern to us. We ordered the Owlet monitor after searching from something that would help us be notified if he stops breathing. What I like best about the Owlet is that it's not based on movement, so there are few and far between false alarms. And it doesn't wait for your baby to stop breathing, it alarms you is his heartbeat and blood oxygen levels get into a dangerous zone, allowing you time to wake up your child before they stop breathing all together. So far we've only had one red alarm, and I didn't stop long enough to check the numbers to see whether or not it was false, I immediately woke my son up and turned off the alarm! The Owlet comes with different sock sizes, which helps immensely. We usually put a sock of footy PJ's over the monitor so that our son isn't able to detach it somehow. It doesn't negativlely impact his sleep at all!

I use this product every night. My daughter was born 8 weeks early and she was having Bradycardia events shortly before being released home. I was very nervous to not have monitors to ease my mind and this has given me a feeling of comfort knowing it will alert me if her heart rate were to drop so i could stimulate her out of it.
Pros: Piece of mind
Cons: The base has to be too close to the sock to work

I love love love my owlet- I wouldn't trade it for any other monitor! I hope in the future they adapt it to function as a regular noise monitor also so I can use only one unit in baby's room.

The number of connection alarms take away from a great idea

I bought this product to keep our son safe and in turn allow worried parents to get a better night sleep. In theory it does that but that sound sleep is interrupted by nightly bad connection alarms.

If the red alarm goes off the app should capture a screen shot of what the baby's stats are. When it's going off, you run to the baby first. I'm not going to take the time to check my phone to see her levels are but I was curious what they were after the fact.

I was really excited about this product because I am a worrier and was hoping this would offer peace of mind. It works great when it stays on my baby's foot, but she is rather small and the sock will slip off if she moves at night and causes the alarm to go off which defeats the purpose of having peace of mind.
Pros: Peace of mind while my little on sleeps
Cons: The sock does not stay on a newborn easily

We love our owlet! It's great to be able to have a piece of mind about how your little one is doing especially when they're sick! My only complaint or suggestion is that I wish there was a smaller sock. My little one was a premie so the sock didn't fit great until he got bigger. He was on oxygen for a day in the hospital so it would've been great if we could've used this right away!
