Love the Owlet especially compared to Snuza

I absolutely LOVE the Owlet!! Have been using it on Baby #2 since she was born 8 months ago. We used the Snuza with Baby #1 and found that we had many false alarms and many times (especially after a late night diaper change) I couldn't remember if I had turned it on- so I would go in to check and unintentionally wake my baby up in the process. With Baby #1 (even with the Snuza), I had a hard time "sleeping when baby slept" because I thought "who is going to watch the baby?" and "will I hear the Snuza if baby rolls on tummy?". With The Owlet, I have had no problem sleeping whenever my baby does- the alert is loud enough that I know I'm not going to miss it, especially since I can hear it over the monitor and via the app on my phone. I also love that I can check in on baby's stats when out for "date night" or if I am out and dad is home with the little ones. Just gives me that extra peace of mind that everything is okay. I absolutely love this product! I did go back and forth on whether or not I should buy it (especially since I already had the Snuza), but I am so glad that I did and would definitely buy it again. The only con (and it's not a big deal), is that it's really made primarily for when baby is sleeping at night so I don't really use it for naps as it needs to charge during the day and works best when it's darker. This doesn't really bother me because I'm usually awake during naps and can check in on the baby and also naps can be sporadic so I don't always have the forethought to put the sock on baby and wouldn't want to wake her by putting it on after she is already asleep.
Pros: Alert is loud, Confirm monitor is on without waking baby, Monitor when you are away from home, Sleep when baby sleeps

Our baby girl had an episode when she was 4 weeks old. I ordered the Owlet while we were in the PICU and I have been so happy with it! I love that I can get her heart rate and oxygen levels right on my phone! I can sleep so much better knowing I will be alerted if something happens!

We have been using the Owlet on our preemie for the past 6 months, and I have been very pleased with it so far. It was easy to set up, and so far it has worked great. I have a friend whose baby died of SIDS, so that was a huge fear of mine, especially after my daughter was born prematurely. Using the Owlet gives me peace of mind, and allows me to sleep without worry. My only complaint is that the velcro loses its "stickiness" after a few weeks of use. This caused the sock to fall off my daughter's foot, and resulted in the blue alert going off. Now I just use a small piece of tape to hold the velcro flap down, and problem solved.

We use this on our baby boy every night while he sleeps and even during the day when he naps. It allows us to have peace and not worry so much. The sock is light weight and does not bother my little one at all! I would strongly recommend to other parents. I even bought an additional one for my niece and her new born little girl!

I love using the sock every night but I keep having charging issues with the port. I love having some peace of mind after losing a child while he slept. Just wish the charging port was better.

Our son has intractible epilepsy and has seizures at night. Although he sleeps with me I was still up all night long checking him. With this sock I k ow that even while I sleep he is being watched after and he is breathing safely.
