Buy it!!! Worth every penny!

As 1st time parents, it was scary trying to sleep while our newborn slept. Luckily with the Owlet, it monitored our baby and we were able to catch some zzz's as well. Unfortunately, our sensor went badright before the 1 year mark, but I still recommend buying it. It's worth it!
Pros: Get to sleep
Cons: Sensor went bad couple weeks before 1st birthday

Our baby had occasionak low oxygen levels during his stay in the NICU. We were thrilled to have a doctor recommend this product for our use once we left the hospital. I only wish the sock could connect via Bluetooth to my mobile device instead of requiring Wifi as we do not have that service in our home. When the alarm did go off, I had no way of knowing what caused it.
Pros: Gives us peace of mind so we can sleep better., Loud alarms to ensure you wake up., Provides accurate readings.
Cons: 1 month+ socks don't stay on foot very well., Instruction manual is vague., You must have Wifi to see actual readings.

We have been using this product for 5months now and after having it I don't know what we ever did before it!! My daughter had a rare genetic condition and thankfully has only had one seizure...after that seizure we immediately purchased the owlet. BEST PURCHASE WE HAVE EVER MADE. It seriously provides such peace of mind. I love being able to wake up and not have to get up and go into her room to check. I simply open my app and check her vitals. We've had on false red alarm and luckily I read and watched the videos prior to setup where they recommend that if you do have a red alarm make sure to visually check baby out...I was seconds away from jerking her out of bed before I remembered that. Once again thankfully she was fine, it made me so lucky for the owlet in the event that that false alarm had been the real deal. I would recommend this to every parent! Whether it's your first kid or your fifth, if your children are healthy and ecspecially if they have medical issues...this is a must have for every household!
Pros: Peace of mind, restful sleep
Cons: Sometimes the sock becomes disconnected

After 3 losses my husband and I knew we where not taking any chances on our miracle baby! Every night our sons sock is put on and we have such a peaceful night of sleep knowing our son is being monitored !!!!!!! I love being able to check my phone for his stats !!!!! Would recommend this product to every parent out there!!!!!!

There is no way to just let RED alerts have a sound notification; you can set the blue and yellow notifications to silent on the app for the base station BUT if you have sound enabled for owlet notifications in IOS, then ALL notifications play the sound. 2. I would like to see the sock be able to connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth as a standalone solution in the absence of the base station, for example if we go somewhere or move too far from the base station, would be very convenient to NOT always require the base station. 3. I would like to be able to see and or download all the data either in the app or online that is collected by the sock.

This is a truly amazing product. I was able to breathe easy once I put the sock on because I know I would be alerted to any problems with heart rate or breathing. I am no longer constantly checking on my baby, potentially disturbing her. I simply pull up the app on my phone and check that her readings are normal. I do not worry nearly as much which helps me to get a good nights rest.
