As an Anesthesia provider, I spend my days closely monitoring my patients vital signs. As a first time Mom it was a no brainier to use the Owlet that provides hospital grade monitoring to watch over our sweet babe. We have used this product since day one when we brought home our peanut. At 9 months old now, I would have liked to believe that we were out of the woods when it came to SIDS risk. However, last night our sweet girl stopped breathing and the Owlet was there to save her. It woke me out of a deep sleep and alerted me to the situation. Luckily, after what felt like forever she began to breath again. I don't even want to think what my life could have been if it were not for this monitor. Simply AMAZING!

Highly recommend! I sleep more soundly as a mom. When my infant had RSV (horrible virus for babies) the monitor alerted us about low oxygen levels, which we relied on for making trip to ER. It is highly accurate and hasn't given me false alarms. Technology is amazing and I'm so grateful to do all I can to prevent SIDS or any problems with my most treasured, adored, loved baby. Thank you to Owlet!!

Unreliable 75% of the time, don't waste your money

We paid over $200 for peace of mind with our baby, born in Feb. 2016. Since we bought the Owlet just after birth, we've had multiple failures to connect to our system, constant problems with the smart phone app, and one false red alert that scared us half to death. If I could go back in time, I would not buy this product.

Such peace of mind

I have used the owlet since he came home from the hospital and love it. We did have a problem with it falling off - or him kicking it off really, since he is so wiggly! I just put a regular sock on top of it and the problem is solved. My issue now is that the battery is beginning to fail. We get a low battery notification when he is still sleeping and will be for a couple of more hours.

I put the Owlet sock on my baby every night before bed. I do admit that when i first began using it the alarm would go off because of it moving off my daughters foot. I then began to put a sock over the Owlet sock on her foot which has worked like a charm! Now i rarely get alarms, and if i do it is because it has moved (the alert is accurate). I would buy this many times over again and will be using it for all of my children. It provides such peace of mind and some much needed rest!

Owlet saved our preemies life!

This device literally saved my preemies life! SIDS is a common issue amongst preemies and although my son was born at 32 weeks and released last week he had a few times Sunday where his oxygen dropped. The Owlet 2 which we put on my son nightly went off and we rushed to the ER to find out he had pneumonia. Without this device we would not have known the severity and would have thought it was a cold. As new parents we were scared to death to hear the Owlet go off but it works! My only wish was that there would be an option to set our oxygen and heart rate thresholds.
