Love my Owlet!

I love my owlet monitor. It gives me peace of mind, I love being able to see the green light at night and know my little one is ok. My only concern is the sock size my 2 month old went right into the size 3 so I'm worried he will quickly grow out of the size 4.

I would give 100 stars to this device if they would improve on the design of the oximeter probe. it pinches the skin where it sits overnight, leaving a mark on my son's foot. I know it's probably okay, but if the angle of the two sides of the probe would be just a bit larger, this would not be an issue. Furthermore, they should provide a bit more research to appease the parent's mind about any side effects prolonged use of the pulse oximeter probe would have on the sensitive baby skin. Cheers!

Peace of mind is priceless when it comes to safety

We have been using the product for 10 months now. We started using it the first night home from the hospital. We just had our first (hopefully only red notification). Our little one oxygen dropped from mid 90s to 70s in a matter of less than 5 minutes from the additional app tracking. Woke us up and we found her asleep on her belly with her face snuggled into the mattress sleeping... We repositioned her and she quickly returned back to normal. Your product just paid for itself in full in less than 10 minutes. Peace of mind knowing I can quickly be notified is priceless..

My wife and I lost our little girl a little over a year ago due to SIDS. We just adopted a newborn last week, and this has allowed us to sleep at night! We are expecting a biological child in 5 months as well and then will have two little ones wearing Owlets!

I purchased my Owlet for my daughter when she was 3 weeks old, and my first question was "how was I living without this?!" The Owlet gave my husband and I such peace of mind!! Never fell off and we got a false alarm once, I called customer service and they were amazing!! One of the girls there her name was Ashley, was amazing! She walked us through finding the correct sock size and even followed up with us the next day to make sure we hadn't had any more issues! She really eased a worried moms mind! She told me that if I had any issues to reach out to them first before getting frustrated and giving up on the product because they will find a solution to the problem! And she was absolutely right! It's now been 2 months and not a single issue since!' Thank you Owlet and Ashley for all of your help and peace and mind!

Wouldn't have survived without it

We had our first baby this spring - she was a full term, healthy baby. At 3.5 months, she had an apneic event witness by myself and my mother. She turned blue in front of my eyes, I immediately started CPR - and it took over two to three minutes before she took her first breath. Thank God I am a health care provider, and was previously an ICU nurse, so I knew how to act quickly. We were in the ICU and the hospital for the next two weeks with our baby girl - who was eventually diagnosed with an "ALTE" - acute life threatening event. She underwent every test, was seen by every speciality...and was deemed healthy, aside from some controlled reflux. She fully recovered, and honestly, after two weeks, you would have never known we were in the hospital. Of course, as ANY parent who witnesses their child turn blue, and has to do CPR - we were TERRIFIED of going home. My husband and I are both health care providers - we are both very knowledgeable --- and we knew she received the best medical care after her event, and was cleared by many tests. However, NOTHING will give you peace of mind after an event like that, except someone watching your baby 24/7. We were given an apnea monitor in the hospital. If you have ever seen these for babies, there are two wires connected to two sticky pads that are placed on their chest, and then it is connected to a monitor system that alarms. Our baby girl was already 3.5 months old....and try keeping wires away from any young infant. I was worried she would be tangled in the wires even if I tucked them through her pant legs. Furthermore, you cannot see the data in "live form" when they are on these apnea monitors....it will just alarm if something isn't right. We ordered the Owlet before we even left the hospital, and it has been the ONLY reason we can sleep at night. It works accurately with the RIGHT sock size. There are areas of improvement (of course), but we are Owlet supporters through and through

I LOVE that I can sleep knowing that I will be alarmed if my baby stops breathing! I am a first time mom and was uncomfortable sleeping since my baby was a preemie, now with the Owlet I am able to sleep knowing that he is breathing and okay. Don't know if I'd be okay without my Owlet!! Thank you!
