Better than the hospital pulse ox sensors

I bought this a couple weeks ago after my 3 week old late preterm baby spent 9 days in the hospital due to oxygen desaturation. We decided to purchase this so we’d continue to be able to monitor his oxygen after leaving the hospital. I was skeptical after listening to his oxygen alarms go off in hospital all the time with the majority being a false alarm, but this sock is way less sensitive than one in hospital and seems to get an accurate reading almost all the time. I do wish we could see minute by minute readings instead of the 10 minute avg resolution, but it still provides peace of mind.

Great initiative but didn’t use much as planned

I bought this during my 3rd trimester, and now my newborn is 19 days old. So far only tried a few times and my baby seems not like to wear it on his little foot. Will try again when he’s a bit older. The idea of the product is nice. The false alert at night could be annoying.

Got this for my preemie baby who just got discharged from the NICU and I’m more than happy with the smart sock 3. It gives me peice of mind knowing I will be alerted by the base AND my phone if my baby’s vitals go out of range

First time mom with Preemie

So I gave birth 5 weeks early & she was sent to nicu for low oxygen levels when feeding. From then she had to be out in a breathing tub & feeding tube & it was scary seeing her like this. She is my first & it was difficult. The next day she was able to be taken off the breathing machine but they still had to monitor her oxygen levels when breathing. Maybe 6 days later she got to come home & they are no monitors at home, no way to check her oxygen levels. Well the second day she was home she started choking, my boyfriend helped her, but after she was breathing weird to us & we were feeling our. We called a nurse line & they eere trying to get her heart rate & it was hard to count her breaths bc she had hiccups. Well the nurse said she seemed fine basically, but I couldn’t sleep that night. I was constantly checking up on her. So I got on my phone & found an owlet sock in stock in my town & bought it. Got it later that day & had it on her, it gave me a piece of mind bc when I feed her it would let me know her oxygen levels were down. It gives me her heart rate & I also like how it tracks her sleep.

Peace of Mind for First Time Momma

Being someone with general anxiety and being a first time momma, I was terrified to sleep at all during the first few nights after bringing our NICU baby home from the hospital. Once I set up the owlet, I knew that I would be notified if I needed to be concerned about anything. This product has brought me so much peace of mind! I love that not only does it play notifications through the base station, but also to my phone through the app. I also love that I can log into the app at any time to check his real time stats and ease my mind. Great product that I have recommended to all of my other pregnant friends.

Peace of mind!

My sweet boy was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 4 weeks old. He underwent 7 procedures including a 12 hour tumor resection surgery. After 4 months in the pediatric ICU and 2 more months in a regular pediatric unit, he was finally discharged home. After everything we have been through, the Owlet sock has given us peace of mind and the ability to sleep soundly at night, knowing our little man was also sleeping safely. Thank you!

Gives peace of mind!

The first month with our baby has been amazing thanks to the smart sock! We can actually get sleep at night knowing that it’ll alert us and wake us up if he’s in distress! I never thought I’d want to monitor his heart rate or oxygen levels until I had it, and now I don’t think I could use any other type of monitor because it truly makes you feel better to see that he’s doing okay. I love that the app keeps a history of all of his readings as well so I can track his sleep cycles, it’s made scheduling my time so much easier!

The owlet sock is a must have for all parents. It gives you peace of mind that your child is monitored at night so that you can rest too!
