Puts this Mama at ease

I received both the smart sock and owlet camera at my baby shower. I love both of these products! It puts me at ease and I can actually sleep knowing that my baby is safe and that I would be alerted if her oxygen and heart rate levels were not what they should be. I like that the camera and sock are linked up on the same app and that it is very easy to use. I would recommend both of these products for all parents, even just for the peace of mind it provides.

Peace of Mind

I had to deliver my daughter at 37 weeks because I was in a high risk pregnancy. I had read that preemies can be at a higher risk for SIDs. This Owlet has provided peace of mind with Oxygen and Heart Rate readings just like when we were at the NICU. It fits well for a baby that came home at 5 pounds 4oz.
My baby is a bit on the wiggly side so perhaps a sock that fits more like a sock would be best. A long lasting battery would be nice to to avoid trying to put the Owlet on.

Peace of mind

A lot of people cautioned us that the owlet would cause more stress than help, but that has not been our experience. I love the added peace of mind it gives! The only negatives are that the range isn’t very far (sometimes even walking from the nursery to an adjoining room creates a connectivity issue), and I also wish the battery life were a little longer — it works about 12 hours most nights). Overall, I’d definitely buy again and I tell all my friends to do the same.

Puts your mind at ease

My husband and I were told the Owlet sock was the number 1 thing we should have on our registry. Luckily, we got it and I’m very thankful. Our little girl is 6 months now and having her sleep in her crib and not with us has made me nervous but knowing I have the Owlet let’s me breath easier. A little bit of a learning curve with making sure the sock is in correctly but within days we had it down perfectly. I’d be sleeping in the nursery on the floor if we hadn’t got it.

Safety and peace of mind

We received this 3rd generation sock as a gift and it has truly been a great addition to our first born's monitoring and provided my wife and I, as first time parents, some much needed peace of mind knowing our son is safe while sleeping. The visual cues the base provides are easy to understand and help us to know what’s going on. The set up was a little difficult which is the only reason I’m giving a 4 instead of a 5. Overall would definitely recommend.

I can sleep!

When I had my daughter nine years ago, I would stay awake just staring at her and making sure she was still breathing. When I heard about this product later, I was so upset they didn't have it then. Fast forward to April of 2020 when we found out we'd be having another one. I knew right away this was going on the registry.
This helps us relax so much. I can actually sleep easier and longer because I know I have backup. It's so easy to use. My nine year old was able to put it on him, as well as charge it, without instruction from us because it's easy. I also love that I can look at the history and the graphs to see how he is sleeping at night. He is still in the room with us, but I know that once we start putting him in the nursery I will still be anxious, but not nearly as much as I would be without the Owlet. This truly is a great product.

Just what we needed for a little piece of mind

This product is great! I had read a ton of reviews before purchasing and had several friends recommend, one of which had a health issue which was noticed when the sock went off. I really didn't think I needed it and didn't want to waste the money but after getting home from the hospital the exhaustion and anxiety kicked in. I wanted anything that might help ease my mind so we got the sock. I know not to rely on it completely but I like the added security. It does go off sometimes with a good burping but at least I know it works and I would prefer false alarms to a missed situation. I recommend this sock to anyone needing one more thing watching over their baby.
