I get so much more sleep!

I purchased this product because my daughter had breathing problems at birth and I am terrified of sids. The dock turns yellow and plays a lullaby when the sock is misplaced, red when something is wrong, and blue when you disconnect from WiFi. It also features an app that lets you keep up with the baby’s readings. So comforting. I sleep way better knowing that at alarm will go off if her vitals drop. I was in my car at McDonald’s and my baby was at home with her dad. He took her sock off to give her a bath and the alarm sound on my phone where I was letting me know her sock had fallen off. Great product! Not only could it help prevent aids but it could catch other things ahead of time.

Such peace of mind!

My sister bought me this product in my third trimester with my son and I was unaware of its existence. I was already nervous about baby safety and expected many sleepless nights. My older daughter had had a breathing emergency at two weeks old and I just happened to check on her and catch it. She ended up in the Children's hospital for five days, luckily we caught it in time and she is fine now. For the rest of my daughter's infancy I was worried any time I couldn't constantly monitor her. When I was awake I'd check her breathing every few minutes and while sleeping I would wake abruptly many many times a night to check on her. So while pregnant with my son I feared the same situation and lack of sleep. The Smart Sock, 3rd gen has been a lifesaver. My son is on the smaller side and the sock fits perfectly and there are no errors in reading. I am able to sleep, do chores, or attend to my daughter without constantly worrying and checking on him. I tested the device by pulling it off of him and it starts loudly notifying your phone and the station base. I have gotten so much more sleep because I know that the Smart Sock is checking on him when I cannot. Highly recommended!

So simple and offers great peace of mind

A friend recommended we get this for our newborn after their newborn aspirated in the middle of the night and the owlet alerted them of her oxygen dropping.
We have loved it. It was easy to set up, the battery lasts all night, the Sock seems comfortable (our baby doesn’t fuss when we put it on and there are no red marks when we take it off), the app is easy to use and has a simple interface for quick viewing in the middle of the night, the charging station cues are also very simple to see and use as well. Overall it is fantastic for monitoring and peace of mind, we have been very happy with this purchase and I have recommended it to other friends that are expecting.

Life saver

I bought this when I found out I was pregnant for pice of mind. It saved my daughter’s life. She was sent home from the hospital healthy. When she got home we put her owlet on and put her to bed it went off at 85% that night but she wasn’t purple. So we took her to the pediatrician 4 times that week saying her owlet was reading 75-85% oxygen the pediatrician said I was “ over reacting and that the owlet was wrong “ 11 days after she was home I rushed her to the ER because she was retracting and sure enough she has a undiagnosed CHD called TAPVR. She would have passed away that night if I wouldn’t have took her in she went into emergency open heart surgery that morning at 2:30am and she survived given little chance and she beat the odds.

Great.. but can be better

Yes this product helps me sleep at night. But as a tired mother and putting my child down for bed I don’t want to see an “internet pending” or “sock reading” not found every night. Owlet is amazing keeping us calm and sleep better to know our baby is breathing. But it is 2021 can we come out with an company that does the same thing. As much as I love this method, it could be better. I have to unplug and turn off phone to see my baby while I am a parent tired dreading to do so after spending so much money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Peace of mind

I been using the sock 3 since the last week of Dec 2020. It was gifted to me by my sister and I absolutely love it. My son had some respiratory issues when he was born and this product has given me peace of mind. At night I don’t find myself watching his chest rise and fall like I did before receiving this product. I truly recommend and am so thankful for my sister.

I recently had twins and one of them has low hemoglobin levels and tends to sleep more than anything. While in the hospital, i decided to buy the owlet smart sock to have more peace of mind during the night.
The reason for 4 stars is because since my daughter likes to be swaddled, the sock doesn’t get the best readings. The first night the sensor started going off and scared us because we thought something was wrong. Fortunately it was just because she was swaddled and nothing else. Overall, love the sock!

I bought this sock for my baby from the NICU and couldn't be happier with my purchase slight issue during setup easily resolved myself just unplugged the base waited ten minutes then plugged it back in works great and perfect for a piece of mind
