Peace of mind

Our daughter was born two months early and after being constantly monitored in the NICU we were very concerned to bring her home. The owlet sock has provided us with the peace of mind we needed to be comfortable coming home.

Peace of mind

I finally bought this for baby #3 because I found out you can use your HSA dollars, and I’m so glad I did. We follow all the precautions for sleeping but I’ve always been uneasy overnight. We also recently moved into a house where the baby’s bedroom will be quite far from our room when we transition him. The owlet gives me that extra peace of mind I needed. It was super easy to set up and link to the app, and I get notifications on my phone and the base station. The product and packaging are well designed and the sock fits perfectly on the baby - he doesn’t even seem to notice it’s on. I already received one slightly low oxygen reading and was able to easily check on him and make sure he was ok, nothing was obstructing his face and he hadn’t turned over. So thankful!

Peace of mind

After 4 nights of using with our newborn, I am so happy I purchased this product! It provides a great peace of mind.
The only negative is the readings are thrown off during feeding/burping. When I burp my baby it sends the red alert alarm for high heart rate, which is loud and alarming in the middle of the night feeds. In order to prevent this you have to undress baby and take it on and off after every feeding which is I’m not going to do every 2-3 hours in the middle of the night.
Despite this flaw, I still recommend!

Peace of mind...but LOUD

As a first time mom this sock gives me so much peace of mind. Without it I would never sleep, I would just stare at our baby to see if he was breathing. However, I wish you could turn off the LOUD “hush little baby” tune that plays when the baby is “wiggling”. It is so loud it causes more distress to our baby (and us) and is not a helpful feature. Otherwise it’s a great product for peace of mind.

All Around Fantastic

I bought this shortly after the birth of our first child. We had debated on ordering one for awhile but were apprehensive due to the price. We eventually decided to buy one after his birth and his two day stay in the NICU due to respiratory issues. We got it home and had issues getting it set up. I had to restart the app a few times before I was able to get everything set up due to the station not being able to connect to the WiFi. After this hiccup, we have not had any other issues and have been extremely happy with the Owlet Sock 3rd Gen. The piece of mind the sock had given us was worth the ticket price. The ability to see his heart rate and oxygen levels and alert us on the base station and our phones if something is wrong definitely helps us sleep easier at night!

Peace of mind is priceless!

When my first born was an infant I went back and forth for weeks debating whether or not to purchase the smart sock and never ended up buying the device. As a result I lost a LOT of sleep constantly waking to check on my child to ensure he was still breathing. This time around I didn’t even think twice and purchased the smart sock right after my second son was born. It has been a game changer and provided significant peace of mind. Now I no longer wake up several times an hour to check on him. I was worried about wether or not I would hear the “alarm” if I was in a deep sleep but two nights ago the warning sound (lullaby song) went off letting me know that the device had shifted positions and I heard it no problem. I’m confident that if the real alarm were to sound I would wake and be able to tend to the situation right away.

I love the updates from previous Smart Sock!

I bought the Smart Sock 2 back in 2017 and absolutely loved it. I used it with my first son, and then when my daughter was born in 2018. I became pregnant again in 2020 and wanted to get the updated Smart Sock because I figured they had improved many of the features (which they have!). It helps me so much as an anxious Mama to have an extra set of eyes on our newborn, and to have that reassurance. I love that the base monitor is much smaller than the previous model, and it’s so convenient that it just charges on the top instead of with a cord. Love it so much!

My son was in the nicu & so this gives me the peace of mind I need when he’s sleeping. I love that we also get 2 different sizes in the socks. I would highly recommend this product for any baby.
