Peace of mind with my heart baby.

My son was born with tetralogy of fallot, pulmonary stenosis, BAV, and an ASD. He spent months on a hospital grade pulse ox between surgeries for the first few months of life. After his full repair we had to return the hospital grade pulse ox, but we were used to knowing his heart rate and blood oxygen levels. He has worn his Owlet every night for over a year. It has helped us sleep soundly knowing that he’s being monitored. His sats since her repair are over 90%, so they Owlet is great for him. I’ve had other moms tell me that it didn’t work for their child due to their sats being in the low 80s.

I bought this duo for my daughter who was born with a Congenital Heart Defect, to be able to monitor her heart rate and o2 sats at home, as well as be able to peek in on her when she is asleep without disrupting her. It has given us peace of mind and has helped us keep track of her sats alongside her pediatrician, whom likes to see the patterns on her nightly logs.
If I had to change anything, it would just be making the smart sock more portable so that it could be used in the car seat on drives, or in the stroller on walks. It would also be extremely helpful and useful to more heart parents if the o2 sat levels could be adjusted, since most heart warriors have lower baseline levels that the Owlet would alert for.

Peace of Mind

Daughter was born 10 days ago. I admittedly was not sure whether the sock was really necessary. It seems like there is a baby gadget for everything and this seemed like it might overkill. 10 days later I can say that I am so glad that I purchased it. The first couple nights I honestly think it was the only reason I was able to sleep. The peace of mind provided to know that I can sleep and not worry is well worth the price of the sock!

Worth every penny

I bought this because my son got sick. The sock helped calmed my anxiety about putting him in his crib. I also love the sleep feature it has. This product is worth everything. I don’t know how I went this long without it.

I bought the Owlet 3 sock on day 2 of being home from the hospital with my newborn. Day 1 my husband and I did not sleep at all because we were watching the baby around the clock making sure she was breathing. The Owlet sock gave us peace of mind and has allowed us to get some sleep each night. I cannot recommend this product enough! Definitely #1 most used baby product that I will recommend to all of my friends!

We researched the Smart Sock 3 quite a bit before our baby girl was born, and while we thought it was a great product, were still on the fence about buying it. Then, she was born at 36 weeks and spent a few days in the NICU for respiratory distress. The monitors there were so reassuring to watch when we stayed with her overnight, we wanted the same peace of mind when we took her home. The Smart Sock 3 is a fantastic wireless tool that does just that. Pros: It’s very easy to set up and use, even a small hiccup with setup was quickly remedied by the fantastic chat support team. It is comfortable, the battery life and charge time are great, and connectivity to the app is consistent. We also love the sleep reports and articles in the app. Cons: I wish the base and sock had a longer connection range. Our bedroom is about 40 feet from our living room couch, where we often take the baby in the middle of the night and sometimes lose connection and get an alert. You do also get some false alarms, though fewer the better you get to know the product. If you have a little babe (ours was born at 5lb 5oz) make sure there’s a snug pj footie or sock over the Smart Sock to help it stay in place. Also, use that pause feature on the base when you go to feed and especially burp. We are very happy with this product, and I would recommend it to anyone, especially first time parents like us, looking for some extra reassurance overnight. Thanks Owlet!

We received this as a gift for our baby girl. We have really enjoyed the peace of mind it brings at night, knowing that we will be notified if anything were to be wrong. We also really enjoy the feature that tells us how our little girl slept throughout the night. It does sometimes have difficulty reading if she is moving, but usually re-establishes connection quickly. Would highly recommend for any new parents!

After having and using the Owlet for a little over a week, I can safely say that this is an amazing product. Both myself and my wife have healthcare background, we love the functionality and information when we use the monitor!
