Puts your mind at ease

Bought it when my son was 3 weeks old as well as the camera. He is now 10 months. Gives a piece of mind when he is laying in another room

We were given the sock and camera for our shower and have used it since we brought our little one home from the hospital. I always heard that as a mom you don’t sleep and that was the case for me because I got PPA after LO projectile vomited immediately when we picked him up for a night time feeding. I couldn’t sleep for days and my husband and I took turns staying up with him for hours at a time. The sock helped ease my mind knowing that if something bad were to happen that we would be alerted. In 2 months of using it we’ve had only one red alert due to getting choked during night time feeding causing his heart rate to increase. Setup (including measuring and placing screw) took about 30 minutes and we haven’t had trouble at all!

Saved my baby life!

My child lived his first 9 days in nicu so when he came home it was really difficult sleeping since I was so nervous about his breathing especially being a first time mom. At first getting owlet I started to feel as if I was being crazy and too dependent on it so I stopped using it for a couple of days. My 3 week old ended up catching a cold so I decided to put the owlet back on. I am so glad that I did because if it wasn’t for owlet I don’t know what could’ve happened. One morning the low oxygen alarm kept ringing so we rushed to the emergency room and even to the doctors he looked ok as he was still active. Within ten minutes he was covered with doctors and nurses because his breathing dropped to 60. We discovered he has a respiratory infection. Now currently in picu 3 days later he is doing so much better. If it wasn’t for the owlet I would’ve believed he was just fussy from the cold he had. I will recommend this sock to everyone that has a child because you can never be too safe with a baby that can not tell you what’s wrong themselves.

Peace of mind

My daughter was born a healthy baby at 38 weeks. One month after she was born, I had her in her swing and I was cooking dinner. I turned around and she appeared to be struggling for air. I picked her up and she wasn’t breathing. Scariest moment of my life. I screamed for my Husband. He called 911. She became blue in the face and we performed CPR. We got her to breathe again before the ambulance arrived. We spend the night at the children’s hospital and she was monitored the entire time. The found nothing wrong with her. Even several follow ups. They told us it was a BRUE (brief resolved unexplained event.) We purchased the owlet sock the night we were discharged. Our local store was out of stock so we drove 45 minutes to get it. It was worth it, and it has been! We have been able to sleep at night knowing she’s being monitored. I will continue to use this sock until she outgrows it and I will always recommend to my friends and family!! Please, don’t put a price on your child’s life. Get the owlet sock!! Thank you Owlet.

Saved my baby

I bought this monitor when my 9 day old was hospitalized with RSV. She seemed to be recovering and we were discharged after 5 days. After 2 days at home the monitor started giving low readings. The Drs in the hospital and my pediatrician had been dubious about the home monitor and warned me it could give false alarms so I reset the monitor several times. It kept reading low. We ended up intubated in the PICU for three days.
If you have any worry about your baby's oxygen levels or heart rate I would recommend this monitor. And don't second guess the false alarm.

Love it!!! But...

I love this product I really do but I would love if they do some updates. It only works on wifi.. would love for it to have wifi and bluetooth incase we are on the go. Aside from adding bluetooth it would be great if base ran on rechargeable batteries. Very inconvenient that it doesn't have rechargeable batteries same goes for the baby monitor camera, why must the camera be connected in order to work. Not good. That's as of now. I think the product is great but if we are spending 400 dollars for this product there's no reason why it wouldn't have this features (bluetooth and rechargeable battery.)

I bought the owlet sock when my son was 10 weeks old and I honestly wish I would have bought it sooner. This truly gives me piece of mind and I sleep so much better. I am a first time mom and this truly has been such a lifesaver because I was constantly checking on my son every 5 minutes to make sure he’s breathing but now I can check the app and make sure he’s OK. Honestly, if you’re considering getting it or debating it or whatever it is, GET IT!!!! You won’t have any regrets. This has helped me so much

I have always been a chronic worried and wake up to check on my baby, just like I did with my first. At 11 weeks old my second was diagnosed with RSV, we were worried about her and on Christmas Eve decided to get the owlet to help ya keep an eye on her. Christmas Day as I was cleaning the kitchen we got a red alert, she was tachycardic and her O2 had dropped, I took her to the ER and their monitors matched the owlet, she ended up needing oxygen and a feeding tube and a 2 day hospital stay. So glad we purchased this! She will wear it until she outgrows it!
