Works like expected

We used a different monitor for our other children, and wanted to try this out for out last. The first night I got a few yellow notifications, but I think i didnt put the sock on right. The past several nights have been great. Obviously, it is important to follow safe sleep guidelines- but this product provides some peace of mind that allows us both to get some rest. One thing thing that could be improved is being able to access the data in a different way than having to load the app. Sometimes it can take a little bit to boot up and start bringing in the data- so it would be nice if that information was available on the phones lock screen or something like that.

The owlet smart sock 3rd generation is a huge upgrade over the previous generation. The various sock sizes provided in the box, the updated sock charging method, and the upgrade to USB C addressed the issues we had with the previous model. We’re very happy with this product and are really thankful for the great work from the team at owlet.

Peace of mind!

I was hesitant to buy the owlet sock and kept debating if I should, but I am so glad I did! My daughter was born 3 weeks early and was in premie clothes, nothing fit her. I was so scared to let her sleep in the bassinet alone of fear of suffocation on her clothes/swaddle. After a hospital visit due to jaundice I knew I needed peace of mind. I ordered the sock and had it delivered overnight. After using the sock for almost 6 weeks I can say it has given me such peace of mind and I dont worry about sleeping when she sleeps. My Mother even has the app on her phone and will check on her at times too. If you are hesitant to buy, don’t be! I will always recommend it to new moms.
The only reason I am giving the sock 4 instead of 5 stars is because you cannot adjust the yellow and blue notification sound on the base. The previous generation had this ability, however generation 3 does not. During the first few weeks we would get several yellow notifications due to the sock was a little loose (she was very petite), however as she has gained weight we are getting less notifications stating sock placement error.
Overall is an great purchase and would recommend it to every parent/caregiver.

Sleep for Mom!!!

I bought the original Owlet when my daughter was a few months old almost 5 years ago. When we found out we were pregnant with our son, I immediately knew I would use The Owlet with him because of the peace of mind it gave me with my daughter. A few weeks before he was born, the 3rd generation sock was released and I knew I had to buy it. We’ve been using it for almost 2 weeks now and I cannot say enough great things about it! The Owlet Smart Sock 3 stays on so much better than the older generation socks, the ease of charging the sock without having to connect it with a cord, and the new app features are all major wins for the Smart Sock 3! It has been so nice to be able to actually sleep when the baby is sleeping and know that the Owlet is monitoring his stats for me while I catch up on rest.

Greatest baby purchase

Hands down, the best baby device I've purchased. My son was born 12 weeks early and this monitor has paid for itself over and over. The long battery life and ability to connect multiple users to monitor him are two of my favorite features.

I bought the smart sock a few months ago and I am so happy that I did! It is a great investment for new parents and definitely puts your mind at ease when your baby is sleeping. While it is expensive my husband and I definitely think it is worth the money and would recommend purchasing the product. I was apprehensive at first since you have to be connected to WiFi at all times, but we actually had a storm the other day and the WiFi went down for a few hours and the sock still worked since it was able to connect to the station. It is super user friendly and even when I had questions Owlets customer service is quick and easy to get in touch with whether via phone or using the chat service. Anyone I spoke to was super knowledgeable and patient.

Easy set up, fast response times

We bought our Owlet and we are currently on our 3rd week using it on our newborn. At first we had issues getting the app to connect to our phones, but we still received alerts through the base. We reached out to customer service (many times at all times of the day) and we always had someone respond quickly and help us resolve our issues! The biggest issue was our internet not the sock. Love the owlet, it gives us an extra piece of mind when going to sleep.

I bought this due to the likelihood of my child having an airway disorder. I’m so glad I did! It gives me peace of mind and I can actually get some sleep knowing he’s ok!
