Great for peace of mind

I’ve been using the smart sock for 2 weeks now, it has a learning curve of proper positioning on the foot and making sure it’s secure or else the monitor will go off. I have enjoyed the peace of mind it gives me as my newborn sleeps for long periods of time. The couple things I don’t like is when my baby wakes up and I try to rock him, monitor will go off saying it can’t get a proper reading. The connection isn’t very long either and if I take baby to living room where base is in our bedroom, it’ll go off. Besides that, I really enjoy the product.

Peace of mind.

I recently bought the outlet monitor, after my baby had a turning blue episode. Having this monitor has given me peace of mind. I love that I can look at the app and see where his readings have been. Sock is very flexible and soft. Setup for fairly simple. Minor improvements could be made as far as battery life, option for on the go use utilizing data, and more sock sizes or options to buy sock sizes.

I got this at 3-4 days old because my baby was a nasally breather and as a NICU nurse I got so nervous about his vitals and constantly caught myself peaking at him in bassinet instead of sleeping ... I bought the Owlet and it gave me such a piece of mind at night for the little amount of time you can close your eyes with a newborn it helped me get in the sleep I could. My only complaint is the irritation around the ankles, I hope they come out with more of a sock then a wrap. I highly recommend the product it helps.

So this review is mostly just about the set up, I’ll come back and update once our little wild man gets here (due Dec 3rd, 2020). I got this as a gift along with the camera from my Mom. This is our first baby and she already knew I was going to be anxious about this baby. Anything that will put your mind at ease about your baby is 100% worth every penny spent! The device itself is really pleasing to the eye, I love the esthetic of all the Owlet products. The packaging is also something that I enjoyed & the presentation was very nice. The setup was very easy & well done. I didn’t have to pull out any manual or Google anything - which is rare with stuff like this lol. It was so simple, you just follow the steps through the app and once your past the update you’re good to go! Like I said, I’ll come back and update once the baby gets here but I’m already really pleased with the product so far! Hopefully this helps!

We had the 2nd gen sock and upgraded to the 3 when our sensor was going out. The one-handed charging and monitoring while baby is moving features all but sold us! My only complaint would be that my daughter’s oxygen levels show significantly lower with the 3 compared to her normal 100% o2 levels with the 2. Not sure if this is a sensor issue on our end or if others have the same complaint. Overall, I will keep recommending this product to all my expecting friends and family!

I bought this right after leaving the hospital, because my son was born with a heart condition. They said that they wouldn't send me home a monitor, but I instead needed to check his heart a couple of times a day with a stethoscope. I personally didn't feel like that alone provided enough peace of mind, so I bought the owlet as an extra safe guard to track his heart. I would definitely recommend this to any parent in that situation and would definitely buy it again.

This is my second time purchasing the Owlet, and it did not fail to satisfy me! I bought the 2nd generation for my daughter, and now have the 3rd generation for my newborn son. The upgrades are thoughtful! When my son is wearing it, I have a peace of mind while I sleep, use the bathroom, shower, etc. I recommend this product to all mom and dads! It truly is a life saver.
