Awesome device that will help you sleep at night. Wish the sock could get a little further from the base station but I would definitely recommend this device to others.

We loooove our owlet!! I gave 5 stars because the customer service was excellent! Our owlet for some reason stopped working. It worked great up until recently. We called customer service and without 1,000 questions and having to send in our old one first they are sending us a brand new one! We use our owlet religiously every night and not having it makes us nervous, so because they want us to have it quickly they sent us one right away! Thank you owlet!

My wife and I received this item during our baby shower. The first night we put the sock on our son, we kept getting an alert that the sock was off. After this happened 3 time, I told my wife we need one of the babies socks to help keep it on. Once we did that it worked great. We have had no issues with the base station reading the sock. And the app has been great too. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Product, Worth Every Penny!

My son was born 14 weeks premature in February 2017. The owlet was on our must-have list prior to bringing him home, as he has chronic lung disease and severe reflux that can cause him to pause breathing. The owlet alerted us to issues several times with red alerts for choking episodes and drops in oxygen. It is what ultimately showed us that he needed to be on continuous oxygen. He is now over a year old, and we use the owlet EVERY night. I sleep much better knowing that the owlet is monitoring his vitals and will alert me if anything is wrong.
Pros: Peace of mind

Connection issues

It is great for peace of mind but all the false alarms are not great. We can be in the room and he is asleep and the alarm sounds waking him up.
Cons: Comnectivity to the ipad is weak.

A must have, even for the gadget haters

This thing is amazing. We got a red alert when our newborns oxygen dropped below 80%. I never knew he was sick because he had no symptoms, but the owlet told us something was up. We got him hospitalized for serious RSV right away. I found it was really comforting when he was sick. I was a no nonsense, no gadget mom for my first two but this is the only thing I do think is really worthwhile.

Knowing is half the battle!

My husband and I adopted a newborn baby. Neither of us had an experience and we are learning as we go. Everyone we knew would give us advice... and still do. Mostly we would be told the horror stories of fussy babies, sleepless nights, and not showering for weeks on end. From the night she was born our daughter has been a great sleeper. We brought her home and she slept so well! There in lied the problem, we were constantly checking to see if she was breathing and it would wake her. I saw this product advertised on Facebook and was skeptical. However, after digging around it seemed like a ligit product so we placed our order. It was delivered super quick and from the day we received it we have loved it! Sure it's great to know she's sleeping great, to know she's breathing, and to have a history to see how her night went. My biggest reason for loving this product is putting her to bed at night. Since she is only 7 weeks old she is sleeping in our room. We are teaching her self-soothing for bed time. The issue before having the sock was not knowing if she had fallen asleep. We'd wait and wait. This ate into valuable time we could have been sleeping! Now with the sock I can see when she has actually fallen asleep so we can go into our room and go to bed as well! It might be a bit pricey but I would recommend it to everyone having a baby! My only complaints are two things. The secondary app that lets you see the history can take up to 20 minutes to show it to you so it's not in real time necessarily. Like I said I use this information a lot to tell me when I can go to bed. My second is actually the reviews here... I love seeing all the reviews and I tend to start with the worst first to see what issues people have with a product. My complaint is that Owlet needs to separate out the reviews based on versions or models. All the negative reviews I read were all addressed with the newest version so it doesn't show me what issues people are having with the current release.

I'm a first time mom, and I didn't realize how paranoid I would be about sleep. I opted for this over a video monitor for my newborn because I can't see them breathing on a screen, but I know she's safe while wearing the sock. I recommend it to everyone having a baby. I would buy it again and again.
