Amazing product that makes you feel safe and secure

The owlet has been an amazing comfort to my wife and I. We use it mainly at night when he is in his crib but feel so safe knowing that the owlet is always watching over him to make sure our baby is safe. It has made the transition much more manageable into his crib. It is an amazing product and east to use. I would recommend to any first time parent for peace of mind. Highly recommend!

The Device that Saved my life!

I've used the Owlet for both my children. I have a 17 month old that wore the Owlet until he was one and a 3 month old that is currently using it. I'll never forget the first few weeks of my first LO's life prior to owning the Owlet. Day one, home from the hospital, I had a fear that overwhelmed me to the core that he would stop breathing or wouldn't survive through the night. This was the most painful, anxious, and stressful time of my life. It was a overwhelming feeling that took my happiness of being a new mom right from me. I sat over him, up for 72 plus hours straight, just watching him breathe. I was scared and stressed and I knew I wasn't alone. I didn't know what to do. I prayed and prayed for a peace to take over and that's when my husband found the Owlet. My husband searched online for baby monitors that give piece of mind to moms and help the new mom with fears of SIDS and so forth. When he found the Owlet, there was zero hesitation to purchase. It was a new product at the time and had just come onto the market. To say that the Owlet saved my life is an understatement. The way this eases the mind of a new mom is something that I am forever grateful for. From the moment I received the Owlet, I never had an issue or a dissatisfaction of any kind. It allowed me and still allows me to see if my child is okay at any time during the night. We've had 2 red alerts in 17 months and both times my baby was sick and had an elevated heart rate. The Owlet works! Both my kids are also tummy sleepers and that is a big no in the baby world since the Back to Sleep campaign. Without the Owlet, I would have a constant fear of SIDS or suffocation. I am forever grateful for the Owlet and I truly owe my life to the creators of it. For taking this simple technology and putting into a baby sock, pure genius! They have given me a peace of mind that is something I don't know where I would have gotten it at. Thank you Owlet!! You Saved my life! I recommend it to every new mom!

The peace of mind that this product gives my husband and I, makes it completely worth every penny! Set up with the app is a little difficult, and I wish that when it does alarm red it would somehow document what happened (was it the heart rate or O2 level or both that made the alarm go off). Other than that, we love this product and highly recommend it to all our friends that are expecting

I have used the owlet smart sock 2 with my youngest since the day he was born. Not only does it provide me with peace of mind while he sleeps that I never had with my other kids, but the Connected Care app saves data about his sleep quality, heart rate, and oxygen levels that I can show to the doctor if anything unusual happens. I purchased a refurbished unit before my son was born, and yesterday the unit was unable to recharge. I called the help line and even though my smart sock's warranty had expired a month before, they honored it anyway and sent me a brand new unit with a new warranty. This company truly cares about its customers and their children. I recommend this product to everyone!!

This device saved my son during an SVT episode

My son was born in February and we found out immediately that has a heart arrhythmia. We then started looking for devices that we could put on him to monitor his SVT episodes. One day we had put on his foot and immediately if the alarm started going off. Without the owlet being on his foot I'm not sure we would have even caught that his heart rate was about to explode out of his chest 246 BPM. We immediately called an ambulance who then rushed to the hospital. My one month old son ended up staying one week in the hospital to get proper care to bring his heart arrhythmia back of the line. I can't I can't stress the importance of having this device on any newborn with heart arrhythmia.
Pros: Various shoes to put the device in
Cons: Would be better served if it kept a log.

We LOVE our Owlet. We use it almost every night (sometimes we forget- we have twins and it's a lot!). The only thing I wish they had was a system for twins. That is the only downside. Everything else is amazing. It works like a charm, the app is so easy to use and the customer service is great. It has given us total piece of mind especially when our son started sleeping on his tummy.
Pros: Everything. The entire system is the best.

I am the mom of premie twin boys and a NICU/Peds nurse. My boys were born at 35 weeks and had respiratory issues. When we brought them home the owlet monitor was more accurate at detecting heart rate and oxygen levels than the hospital monitor we had to come home with. I have loved this monitor. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I can monitor the twins at the same time on the app.
