Essential for All Caregivers!

An essential investment for parents and caregivers! My smart sock (version 2) has lasted from birth until over a year old with TWO of my kids. I wish it had been available when I had my first child. My second child was born out of state, and due to health complications, we were unsure of how he would do in a car seat for the long ride home. Our medical team was happily surprised when I showed them the Owlet in my hospital bag. Even without cellphone service or wifi, we were able to track him from the front seat the entire way home (so I wasn’t constantly waking him checking him). For both babies and any drive by myself, I always used it in the car. I also used it for the many long, sleep deprived nights and naps with both babies. When I was worried about dry drowning after my baby fell in a pool (I pulled him out right away, but still scary!), I was able to track his naps and night time sleep without worry until I knew he was past the window of concern. I love that owlet continuously improves the app and features, and improves the functionality for even their older products.

Extra pair of eyes!

We love the Owlet Smart Sock because it’s like an extra set of eyes on our little one at night. It gives us a peace of mind when we are sleeping knowing that we have the sock tracking her oxygen level and heartbeat. It’s so nice to be able to check the app to see how she is doing rather than going into her room and possibly waking her. Highly recommend!

Such peace of mind!

When my daughter was born a couple years ago, I was a zombie who only slept when someone else was awake to watch her. This time around I knew I would need to actually sleep at night in order to be up and functioning (to take care of both my toddler and the newborn!) during the day, so we decided to get the Owlet! My only regret is that we didn’t buy it the first time around. It has been so wonderful being able to get some rest in between those nighttime feedings. I also love the overview the app provides of how his sleep quality was/how many times he was awake. Our son is currently only two weeks old but it has definitely been our best baby purchase thus far and I would highly recommend it!

Great features, helps provide peace of mind

My family purchased the Smart Sock , 3rd generation for us when our daughter was born. In the month that we have been using it, it has truly provided piece of mind at bedtime. Due to our small bedrooms our daughter is sleeping in her crib in the room next to ours.
I love that different size socks are provided and 2 of each size so we can switch the monitored foot every week. The instructions were easy to understand and I appreciated the how to videos. Though no matter how many videos you watch, trying to get the sock on a wiggly baby foot is a struggle sometimes. The first night we had it I had so many concerns, even though it was late at night I was able to talk to a real person via chat about all of my concerns. I was concerned I wouldn't hear an alarm on the base, but the phone app also loudly sounds so you will hear it as long as you have the base or phone near you. Quite frankly I can hear the alarm sound on the base from the next room it is loud enough.
The only negative I have dealt with is after drinking a bottle at night my baby likes to scrunch up on my chest while being burped. This causes the connection issue alarm to sound everytime. That in itself is not the issue as you can put the alarm on hold and it will stop sounding. But the hold seems to only be good for 1 minute, so i have to hit hold a few times while i am burping her. But there may be a setting for me to fix this that I just haven't found yet.
I would definitely buy owlet products in the future and encourage my friends to purchase them as well.

Peace of Mind and caught SVT

We had been using our owlet every night since coming home from the hospital. It gave us the peace of mind we needed to get restful sleep. One week after coming home, while getting ready for bed, we put the sock on and immediately got a red alarm for a heart rate nearing 300. Baby was acting normal but this prompted a trip to the ER just to be safe. He was in SVT which led to a full night in the ER followed by another night in the cardiac pediatric unit. We’re so thankful we had the Owlet Smart Sock to catch this! If you have a newborn this is a must purchase.
