Best Baby Purchase Thus Far

The Owlet is the best purchase we've made for our baby, hands-down. We are first time parents with a lot of anxiety about SIDS. Our baby sleeps swaddled on his back in his crib with no hazards, but I was still checking his breathing all night. After weeks and weeks of no sleep, or perhaps an hour a night, I happened upon the Owlet while I was awake one night. I purchased it immediately. It's super easy to set up and put on my baby. All questions I've had about it have been answered in a more-than-timely manner by customer service reps at Owlet, and I honestly have no complaints about it. My husband and I can both check our baby's readings on each of our phones using just the one account, and that's very handy since I sleep in a separate room while I recover from a C-section (and he snores soooooo loudly!). We are thrilled with this purchase. It's definitely an investment, but honestly, it's worth it if you are anxious like us. I'm happy to report that after a couple weeks with the Owlet monitor, I'm sleeping more (baby is still up to breastfeed) and I feel so much better and am recovering more quickly than I was. Thank you to the Owlet team for helping us so much that first week. It meant the world to us to know that you were there to help us after we purchased this. We have no buyers' remorse and have recommended it to all our family and friends who are expecting.

After being in the NICU for a month with our daughter I couldn't imagine coming home and sleeping at night knowing her oxygen & respitory rate would bottom out during the night. After a week of no destats the doctors let us come home. The Owlet has allowed me peace of mind as I sleep at night. I still randomly wake up but instead of bothering her I just look the lights on the base. Our Owlet was worth every penny.

I love the owlet I've seen some articles bashing it. I don't know who could possibly hate such a small device that keeps track of your baby. I will buy again if I ever need another! Thank you again Owlet for letting me get sleep.

This is nothing short of AMAZING. I know a lot of people comment on how expensive it is, and it is, but please please please do whatever it takes to save the money for this product! It is the best piece of mind! I read comments about people returning this b/c it would go off and scare them, please don't let this be you! We have a micro preemie that spent 108 days in the NICU, so we are very well versed with the many beeps and alarms that go off for various reasons. Thankfully, so far we have only had "loose connection" alarms, but we do not freak out. Each time we check our baby and she has always been fine. (this has only happened a few times) All of the doctors, nurses and various specialists have taught me and my husband to always look at the baby first. Also, I've read where people say it only works up to 10 feet from the base station. I don't know if that was true for older versions or if we just got lucky b/c ours works all around our house. Granted, we don't live in a mansion, but we go beyond 10 feet. We took it to my parents house and were able to set up on their WiFi super easy! The only downfall is that it does not work while the baby is moving (but makes total sense), which swinging counts. What I do is once baby falls asleep, I turn the swing off if I want to be able to monitor her readings. The app even alerts you when you are out of WiFi range, this is something we weren't sure about until one day my husband got a notification at work. I could go on and on about how much my husband and I love this product. I am beyond pleased with the Owlet and would recommend it to any and everyone! I'm including a picture of our little micro miracle and you will be able to see the pulse ox monitor she is supposed to be on now but I have turned off currently b/c of the frequent false readings.

We were given this product while my son was eight months old, we just knew that we would never really need it. We went ahead and put it on him and much to our surprise about 6 days after him starting to where the alarm went off. I thiught that the device was malfunctioning and was getting frustrated that it kept alarming. l went and looked at my phone and noticed that it was a high heart rate alarm. I was then able to check his heart rate and realize that his heart was beating 260 times a minute (his normal rate should be around 120). Which is incredibly fast. So we took our son to the emergency room where they were able to tell us that he had a heart condition called supraventricular tachycardia. We were then taken by ambulance down to a children's hospital where they were able to get him on some medication to control the condition. He is now doing well and we are loving our monitor now more than ever!! It give us peace of mind at night. The cardiologist that we worked with say they recommend never using Some of the other types of monitors but the owlet is the only one they have had good results from. I would highly recommend using one because you just never know. We would have never known our son was heart was beating three times a second had we not had a monitor on him. I am so thankful that we were able to get him the help he needed.

The Owlet has helped this first time mama sleep better at night! I was so worried I would get up every hour or more to check on my sweet angel. Thankfully when my baby was 2 months old I ordered the Owlet and I am NOW able to sleep through most nights!! The Owlet has been a true blessing.
