Overall Great - Struggle w/ Sock Fit for Fat Feet

This has been a great comfort for us. Our child came home from the NICU with a breathing monitor after arriving 6 weeks early. When she got the monitor off, we were super nervous. The Smart Sock helped us feel more confident that she was still breathing. We had a few warnings go off (yellow), but never an actual false alarm (red). The in home alert system was very dependable, but the application over the internet was not reliable at all. Once our baby got fat feet, the sock fit was not adjustable enough to keep working, so we discontinued use at around 7 months old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed

We have had this camera for six months. I returned numerous monitors we received at our baby shower. We read all the reviews for the owlet and made a decision. If only we received the same camera all those positive reviews spoke about. This camera cuts off on its own. When I turn it on my phone for my baby girl to be one cry away I wake up A baby crying and my owlet camera off. When I’m viewing the camera on my phone and try to enlarge the video it knocks me out of the app. I honestly am very disappointed this is not a cheap devise not to mention my daughters well being is on the line using this technology. I would not recommend this device.

Peace of mind

I love that it gives a peace of mind and knowing my baby girl is ok along with also practicing safe sleep really eases our minds during naps and at night. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because our sock got a hole in it and we haven’t had it a week.

Peace of Mind, But....

We love our owlet sock (I’m a nurse and obsessed with checking my baby’s pulse and oxygen saturation). The only thing I’d change about it is I wish they’d allow you to change the parameters for alerts. By the time a baby’s oxygen saturation gets down to 80%, it’s too late..... I’d like it to alert me when my baby gets below 90%. My daughter recently had RSV and was in the hospital for 3 days in oxygen. When we got home I still was up all night checking her numbers because I didn’t feel comfortable only getting alerted if she got below 80%.

Awesome buy

My daughter was in the NICU when she was born with breathing issues. So when we got her home of course we wanted something to monitor her breathing! We bought the owlet after reading all the good reviews it had!! Best thing I ever did!!!! It helps us sleep better at night knowing we will be alerted of any changes in her breathing or heart rate! She also ended up with pneumonia at just six weeks old. We thought it was just a normal cold until we noticed her oxygen numbers dropping on the owlet and called the dr. And the did X-ray bc of that! It is definitely worth every single penny!!! The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is bc the levels are not adjustable! I would like to be alerted before her oxygen is down to 80% but it is all preset and cannot be changed! But other than that this product is wonderful ❤️

So much peace of mind

We bought the sock with our first child and 18 months later we’re using it with our second as well. I only made it three days with our first child before I realized I’m never going to sleep because I’m so worried about her. The sock enabled me to get the rest I needed (when I could) and gave me such peace of mind knowing it would alert me if necessary. We’re using the same sock on our second child- the battery lasts through the night but has to be plugged in when taking off because it doesn’t last quite as long as it did (which I think is to be expected). We used the sock for 12 months with our first and plan on using this one until the new baby reaches the age of 1 as well.

Life saver

My mom got this for out new baby gift. I have always loved the owlet. But, when my baby was 8 months old she got RSV. We tracked her oxygen and when we saw it was becoming low (under 90) we went to the hospital. After observing her in the ER, the doc was confident that with our treatment plan and "our little monitor (that's what he called it), we felt assured that home was best. It was a huge relief to not have to be admitted to the hospital.
I have already recommend this to all new and not new parents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

lots of troubleshooting

1st my camera wouldn’t connect every day.
2nd my sleep data wouldn’t show up. Spent a week back and forth with customer service to fix
3 now my sock and base station don’t connect with each other. Happened in middle of night so yellow lullaby alarm went off 3 times. Sleep is hard enough to come by. This issue is currently not resolved despite 2 nights of trouble shooting
